I really enjoy my stay. The room I booked is with a nice balcony. Swimming Pool is not far away from the room which is good! I enjoy the pool outside with warm water during the night. The Stars were beautiful outside. We loved this place! Maybe it's best kept a secret, as we want to come back here, but we're very grateful to the staff. The rooms are good, normal level, but the facilities are outstanding!! It's right on the beach, with hammocks to lounge in, water-slides in the pool, shuttle-buses to and from wherever you want to go Kenting night market, other beaches etc. On top On top of that, the staff are so nice. My girlfriend and I don't have kids yet, but this looks like a great place for families as well as couples. The hotel is truly a five star with world class service and amenities. The beach across the street Xiaowan little beach was well maintained by the Caesar Park Hotel and the hotel provides complimentary lounge chairs with beach umbrellas for the hotel guests. In our opinion, Xiaowan was a much nicer beach than Baixia White Sand Beach as there was no litter or trash on Xiaowan. The hotel pool looked really nice and inviting, but we never had a chance to use it with such a nice beach across the street. Everything in Kenting is relatively close and easy to get to. We heard there may be a free shuttle bus from Kaohsiung Airport to the Caesar Park Hotel, but we ended up taking the Pingtung Express bus which as a stop right at the hotel. I am a Canadian vegetarian, and since arriving in Taiwan, I have struggled with the food, but I was very happy with the selection at Howard. The location of this hotel is fabulous - it is about a 5 minute walk from the night market, and has a tunnel that leads to a small beach, where guests can swim, or rent an umbrella and just relax on the beach. There is also a large swimming pool and two hotels at the Howard - I didn't spend much time there, as I'm more into the beach, but it looked nice. The only thing kind of strange about the Howard is that downstairs, on your way to the beach tunnel, there is a very large games arcade. The staff at the Howard were very helpful - I remember a gentleman named Woody checked us in, and explained the amenities the hotel offers, gave us two free drink tickets, and a coupon to save on bicycle rentals. He also knew a little English which was nice. The Howard lobby entrance is actually about a five minute walk from the main street, but they have an employee in a go-cart who drives up and down the way picking up guests walking along. If you want to leave the lobby and go to the street, just wait a minute and the go cart will take you. You can also rent bicycles, electric bikes, and scooters on the howard premises. Great location. Just a bit out of the harbour area so it's nice and quiet. Could hear frogs and crickets at night and see the stars. Rooms are clean, large and spacious. We joined a night tour to see the deer so we had to have the dinner late. Firstly the rooms are well designed, with each room having a theme of its own. The toiletries are a placed like a puzzle of Chuan Fan Shi itself - a nice touch to the luxurious looking rooms. The entire area of the villa is like a secret garden with flowers, swings and two lambs in the backyard. The breakfast spread is very well planned and thought after, with the owner Irene greeting guests every morning and introducing all the local good food. You have to take the express kenting bus from the main Hengchung station. It's about a minute walk straight down the main road of the hotel. You can also take this bus to the aquarium and hubitu, a small fishery with cheap sushi a plate of twenty small peices for nt. It was a mission indeed but fun and worthwhile! You'll pass a lot of places for go karts and even four wheeler dirt bikes plus some places to go paint balling. The breakfast included is pretty standard. Hotel is in a nice secluded setting, very easy exit off the highway but immediately in a quiet and peaceful place. Well of course the car race truck is very close by so during the day can hear the tires screeching and engines roaring, but not in the evening or at night when it is quiet. For breakfast, they provide vouchers to get Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches from a place that's maybe meters across the main strip and down some stairs from the hotel. We don't really like Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches very much we would have preferred a more traditional Chinese breakfast , so we actually skipped the breakfast. Anytime you offer a type of food, though, there are bound to be people who like that type of food and people who don't, so I can't really fault them for this. Inside the hotel, there is an area with a television and there was a set of fancy old-style Chinese furniture with a sign that said not to sit in it. Also, there were bags and other things strewn about in this space to the point that it is completely unusable by guests. Since everyone passes it on their way back to their rooms, the clutter kind of makes the place seem not as nice. The location is great. It's literally just 50 meters from the main Kenting boulevard, so it's easy to come back after a day exploring, park your car, clean up in your room, and just walk out and enjoy the night market. After returning to our hotel, we couldn't hear any of the noise from the night market. The beach is also within a few hundred meters of the hotel. There few lovely cats you can per and bring to your room if you like. No refrigerator in the room to keep beer cold. But the bed is super comfy.
