Pilgrims Pride (PPC) Stock Down on Dismal Q3 Earnings, Sales

ABC ’s freshman medical drama “ The Good Doctor ” improved slightly on Monday night from its already strong premiere performance last week, according to Nielsen overnight data. “ The Good Doctor ” averaged a 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 11.5 million viewers, marking about a 9% increase in the key demo and a nearly 2% jump in total viewers compared to the series debut last Monday (2.2, 11.2 million). Earlier on ABC , a new episode of “Dancing With the Stars” (1.6, 9.5 million) was up by more than 30% in both measures compared to last week. On CBS, “The Big Bang Theory” (3.0, 13.7 million) was down in both measures from the launch last week, but it was nevertheless the top-rated and most-watched show of the night. Freshman comedy “9JKL” premiered to a solid 1.6 and 8.3 million viewers, while a new episode of “Kevin Can Wait” (1.4, 6.8 million) lost 30% of its viewers in both measures compared to its season opener last week. Viewership for the second episode of “Me, Myself, and I” (1.0, 5.2) also declined by over 30% in both measures, and “Scorpion” (0.9, 5.3 million) was down slightly in the demo compared to its season debut. On Fox, the Season 3 launch of “Lucifer” drew a 1.1 and 3.9 million viewers, which is down over 10% in both measures from the Season 2 premiere, but up from the Season 2 finale. The series opener of the Marvel series “The Gifted” reeled in a respectable 1.5 and 4.9 million viewers. For NBC, “The Voice” (2.5, 10.8 million) was even with its debut last week. A new episode of “The Brave” (1.2, 5.4 million) decreased slightly in total viewers from its launch last week. The CW aired only repeats. NBC narrowly won the night in the demo with a 2.0, but finished second in total viewers with 9 million. ABC was second in the demo with 1.9 million, but first in total viewers with 10.2 million. CBS came in third overall with a 1.5 and 7.4 million people. Fox finished fourth with a 1.3 and 4.4 million viewers.
