Phone flipping guide
Zero fluff guide to Facebook flipping
This is perhaps the easiest business model I’ve ever dabbled in. I started with $220 and turned it into $600 profit the same day. First day in the business. I was hooked, and you will be too.
It's very simple. Here's how it works.
The trick is to have people messaging you attempting to sell you their phone. They want cash and you are their guy. How do you achieve this? Ads.
There’s a bunch of platforms where you will be posting ads.
● Facebook marketplace
● Craigslist
● OfferUp
● LetGo
● 5Miles
● Mercari
An ad is simply a picture of a phone with some text saying ‘I buy phones for cash’ or some variation of that text. The goal remains: to have people message you offering their phones for sale.
You can get pics of phones from instagram hashtags and download Snapseed editor to add text on the picture. Once the ad is ready, you will post it on the various platforms with some basic information like “paying top dollar for iPhones. Local meetup at Starbucks. Same day cash payout. Text me @ 123-456-789”
This is it. Now you wait, or keep posting more ads :)
You will soon begin getting A LOT of messages from people looking for an offer on their phones.
As soon as you start getting messages, you will begin negotiating with people. Most people just want a decent price for their phone, work with them, and you'll get deals. Don't be too greedy.
Help, and be helped.
You will then arrange to meet up with the seller. Generally you don't have much to worry about
with meeting people, most of them just want some cash for their phones. But don't be foolish, think ahead.Meet in public places only. Don't go into people's cars or apartments. Starbucks is a perfect location to meet at. When you meet up, you should inspect the phone.
● Check screen condition
● Make sure it touches
● Check volume
● Check camera
● Check that iCloud account is off
● Check IMEI on Sickw.com
● Check the frame for dents/bends
● Check that its as described
Bring a Sim card remover so you can give the seller their sim card. Keep the cash in your pocket until the phone is in your possession. When you feel you have the phone secured, pull out the cash and count it. Don't be shy. This isn't illegal, people buy and sell all the time. It's a friendly transaction.
To offer the best price there are 2 ways. The first is through eBay recently sold. You can see how much a particular phone sold for that day, and make an offer that makes sense after fees and shipping. The second way is through private buyers lists. I have a few of the top lists that are hard to come by. You sell directly to them. No eBay, no waiting. It's very simple. When you get a few phones, you tell the buyer, you then send them an invoice through PayPal, and they pay. You ship the items to them and that's all. There is usually also an option to get paid with
CashApp, Venmo or ACH payment.
Top buyers for phones. They have a google list they updated weekly with the latest prices.

Before you invoice them for the first time, message them, get acquainted with each other, and you’re good to go.
