Playing a mermaid, she regularly stripped down to a bikini for her role in the Australian television show, H20: Just Add Water.
And Phoebe Tonkin, 26, must have felt right at home during her latest shoot for swimwear label, Matte Swim .
The Originals actress looks slim and toned in a new campaign for the brand, wearing a mix of bikinis and one-pieces in a series of candid black and white snaps.

In one image Phoebe, who was born in Sydney, shows off her slender frame in a retro-style triangle black bikini teamed with high-waisted pants.
With her long dark hair coiffed in waves, she poses up a storm with her hands on her hips and gazing up to the sky with her eyes closed.
Appearing to wear little makeup, carried throughout the entire shoot, Phoebe prominent cheekbones and chiseled jawline take centre stage,

In another image, the brunette beauty has her hair slicked back off her face and crosses her arms, showing off her washboard abs.
In other images for the campaign, the actress dons a nude bikini, which has a crop-top style and a plain black bikini.

Phoebe, who is currently dating The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, 33, first appeared on the show H20: Just Add Water in 2005.
Playing the role of mermaid Cleo Sertori, the brunette would often don a skimpy swimwear for the show.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Phoebe has since appeared in films such as Tomorrow, When The War Began, and the TV show, The Originals, in which she plays werewolf, Hayley Marshall.

Phoebe alongside Australian actress Teresa Palmer, also recently created the website, Your Zen Life , which focuses on healthy living.
In February, the two friends posed up for Vogue Australia and spoke about how they achieve their 'zen.'
Phoebe told the publication: 'I try to drink a lot of water, get eight hours of sleep a night and eat well. But ultimately what is most important is surrounding yourself with positive people and striving for happiness and balance in your life.'
Just this month Phoebe celebrated turning 26 with her boyfriend and co-star, Paul Wesley.

Paul shared an image of his girlfriend at a celebratory dinner, writing: 'Bday dinner with birthday girl last night @phoebejtonkin.'
The loved-up pair started dating in late 2013 and regularly appear on each other's social media accounts.
Touching on sharing her personal life on the internet in Elle Australia' s March issue, Phoebe said 'I definitely try not to put too much about my personal life but the other side of that is that I’m 25, and sometimes I’m happy and I want to share photos in the same way that all my other friends who are at uni or are working in Sydney do.'
