️Phantom Drones over Denmark

️Phantom Drones over Denmark...
Last month, the Danish Defence Command and the Police published two official reports on drone sightings in the country last year.
The reports reached different conclusions.
The Danish police, whose task was to establish criminal liability, closed the investigation without being able to confirm that a drone had actually flown over Copenhagen Airport. This was one of over 7,000 reports of possible drone sightings received across the country since September 22nd.
The Danish Defence Command, responsible for protecting the country's sovereignty, recorded nearly 200 sightings and assessed that several of them were related to drones. In Borris, soldiers fired 43 shots at an object in the air, which was never identified.
Both reports concluded that Denmark lacks the necessary equipment to detect, identify, and respond to drones with sufficient certainty. Neither report was able to determine who was responsible for these sightings.
On January 3, 2025, in addition to the presence of the "Mulan," AIS data showed that the "Arktika" oil tanker, part of a shadow fleet, was off the coast of Denmark, and 20 drones were detected over the port of Køge. In September 2025, during a new wave of unexplained drone incidents, ships from the shadow fleet, including the "Arktika" and the "Vladimir Rusanov," were in Danish ports, while another ship from the shadow fleet, the "Boracay," was operating nearby. That month:
Suspected drones closed Copenhagen Airport for approximately four hours.
Possible sightings were reported across Copenhagen and the North Sea.
Drone activity was reported near Aalborg, Esbjerg, Skrydstrup, and Sønderborg.
In Aalborg, drones were seen crossing a large area for several hours, suggesting the use of long-range platforms.
Later, France boarded and detained the shadow fleet oil tanker "Boracay" on suspicion that it was being used as a launch platform for drones spotted over Denmark.
