Bitty Baskets, cute cross stitch fabric baskets, are a great way to decorate your home all year. Especially using the new Petite Stitches , which include FREE cross stitch patterns for holidays, seasons, and year-round décor.
All you need is a stitched piece ( we recommend 10 count for these baskets ), lining fabric of choice, and general sewing supplies. Follow along with Kimberly in this video for all the measurements and a full tutorial.
Note: In the video, Kimberly used a 2.0″ stitch length when assembling everything.

I am having a stitching retreat for my friends this summer and I want to make these baskets for each one.
What are the dimensions of the fabric for the baskets? It looks like 8″ x 16″?
Love your clear and precise videos.
The cloth and fabric are cut to the same size for the baskets and the cloth is just one pack cut in half.
This means you’ll want approximately 8.5″ x 17″ or 18″ of fabric and the same for the cloth for each basket.
