I was just casually shopping in my favorite city Breda and suddenly stumbled across ICI Paris XL, our local store, and saw a huge promotion picture with the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette. Since I don’t own the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, I was immediately triggered. I didn’t plan on buying the palette just yet but my dad was with me and decided to gift it! I’m so excited to share my review with you today.
As I said before, I don’t own the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette but this Petite Heat palette is inspired by the original/bigger one. I always doubted if I wanted the Naked Heat palette but now I have the Petite Heat palette, I don’t think I need it anymore.
The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat palette is literally everything I’m looking for in an eyeshadow palette. I really found out how I like more brownish/orangy colors nowadays and this palette fits perfectly with my vibes. It has my neutral shades but also the warmer orangy shades. I fell in love the moment I saw it and my dad was so kind as to gift it to me!
The thing I like most about this all is that every time I see this palette, it reminds me of this day and that moment with my dad. I love to gather these memories with my family.
The Petite Heat Palette contains 6 different shades and a mirror as well. The shades included in this palette are:
The palette retails for $29 and is available at Ulta , and the Urban Decay website .
“This is one hot little palette. Naked Petite Heat is a compact eyeshadow palette featuring six all-new scorched neutrals inspired by our own Naked Heat. With five matte shades for lid, crease, and liner, plus one demi-matte highlighting shade, it has everything you need to create looks that range from soft and sultry to flat-out fire.
The ultra-compact packaging was made for travel and fits in your smallest purse. But don’t let its petite exterior fool you—it contains full-size pans of our legendary Eyeshadow and a mirror. Emblazoned with burning roses, this hot commodity will be your go-to palette.
Use each shade alone or pair them up with your favorite shadows to create endless sizzling eye looks. Some of our new favorites are Hot Spell, our latest terra-cotta obsession, and Strike, a rich reddish-brown. Feel like totally going up in flames? Try Wild Thing, a burnt orange shade, or Heist, a rich cayenne, for extra spice. Better yet, you can use these matte shades as a base to pair with your 12-shade Naked Heat palette.
Because you deserve serious staying power and shadow that doesn’t flake or fade out on you, every shade in Naked Petite Heat contains our Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, and blendability.”
Look at these colors! So pretty! All of them swatched really smooth, however, I feel like the texture of Strike is a bit different than the other shades. The texture of the other shades is a bit softer and easier to pick up on the finger. Nevertheless, it totally works fine on the eyes!
All the shades are very pigmented and easy to blend. It’s a lovely palette to work with as a more advanced makeup user but I’m positive this will be perfect for makeup beginners too. The palette contains very basic, neutral tones for a perfect day to day look.
You’ll have some kickback in the pan if you use this palette, but I didn’t have any fallout on the face. I would recommend tapping off the brush, just to be sure you won’t have any fallout.
The pigmentation is definitely amazing too while swatching the palette on the arm as well as using the shadows on the eyes. Even the lighter shades are easily showing up on my eyes, you don’t need to dig into this Urban Decay Naked palette to get some payoff.

I really love the shades in it ? I quite like that it’s small as well, as I barely get through all shades in a regular palette ?
I feel you, I never get through all the shades in a regular palette either so this is such a perfect size haha!
I just saw your blog on Naya’s blog party and tought to give you a follow. I really enjoy it 😀
Looking forward for reading more from you.

Cruelty-Free Beauty, Gothic Fashion + Lifestyle
Today I’m excited to be sharing the new cruelty free Urban Decay Petite Heat palette with you. Urban Decay sent me the palette. I created a video review, demo with all the eyeshadows, swatches, and comparison to the UD Daydream and Naked Heat palettes.
The Petite Heat palette will be $29 and on sale first at UrbanDecay.com, then available later at Sephora , Ulta , Nordstrom and Macys . I believe it’s launching on Feb. 22nd.
Inhale (cream demi-matte)
Vibrate (soft nude matte)
Hot Spell (terra-cotta matte)
Wild Thing (scorched-orange matte)
Heist (rich cayenne matte)
Strike (rich reddish-brown matte)
You can see that Urban Decay Petite Heat fits in nicely with the Naked Heat palette, with several shades being nearly identical to my eyes.
Urban Decay Petite Heat and Daydream palettes share a lot of similarities as well.
Behold the power of makeup! Seriously though, I know you guys always enjoy a before and after. I took it in the same lighting with as close to the same pose as possible. No retouching at all. I had someone accuse me of using filters recently and I’m like nope, you can see all my pores, fine lines, wrinkles etc. And yes, my eyes are very hooded, as well as a bit downturned.

Just a quick note, yes this foundation is too dark on its own. I should have added white, but I was feeling lazy. It’s more noticeable in person, but you can slightly tell in the photos.
I hope you find my Urban Decay Petite Heat review, swatches, demo and comparison helpful. I knew I definitely wanted to see what Petite Heat vs Daydream looked like. And I wanted a clear understanding of how the colors in Petite Heat would work with Naked Heat. Petite Heat is Phyrra approved!
What do you think of the new Urban Decay Petite Heat palette? Do you have a penchant for peach tones?
Thanks for making the Heat vs. Petite Heat comparison so clear. Very helpful!
The palette is a little too much orange tones for me personally but I am loving your lip color in this review!
Great swatches and comparisons! I think this palette has a really nice gradient and fills in some gaps in Naked Heat. I’ll be getting this for sure.
I love how you did your eyes, especially your eye liner! That’s gorgeous.
I love that you compared the swatches to the other palettes, and I like the upturned eyeliner you did!

Urban Decay Petite Heat Palette ($29) is a new all matte eyeshadow palette inspired by the original Urban Decay Heat Eyeshadow Palette that launched last Summer. I consider Petite Heat a companion piece to the original palette since I thought it would contain a good deal of transitional shades that the original lacked.
I think most of a agree that the main issue with the Heat Eyeshadow Palette was the fact that many of the colors were gorgeous but also difficult to use together since they didn’t provide much contrast and they ran all together. I consider Petite Heat quite a nice source of shades that will compliment ones in that palette however, there’s not a lot of newness here and some of the prime real estate in the palette is taken over by two lighter highlighting shades.
Let’s take a closer look at my review and swatches below.
Urban Decay Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette arrives in a small, lightweight rectangle case that contains six shades which weight in at 0.24 oz. It’s neither here nor there but it deserves to be mentioned Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette is the same price but a little larger at 0.30 oz in size.
I liked the palette but didn’t love it. I think it has some great companion shades that will work nicely with the Naked Heat Palette but it doesn’t offer a huge amount of differently or more unique shades that aren’t already available in that palette. Also, the colors aren’t quite the transitional ones I expected or hopes for so in a way it doesn’t add anything to the Heat Eyeshadow Palette that isn’
