I was disappointed to find that this baby book didn’t have a place to put hand/footprints. There’s a lot of information & I don’t particularly like the way this baby book is organized. This is my third child & I felt like this was an awful lot of information to put in a baby book- it def seems geared more toward a first child. Sometimes simple is better especially when you’re dealing with a newborn/ infant.

So in love with this book, it's just the best purchase I've done in a long time!!

I was getting a baby journal for a baby shower and did some shopping around. This book is so gorgeous - it has a storybook feel, the art is that of a classic children's tale not the bright and loud imagery type. They also have multiple places for you to tuck mementos into the book. If you're looking for a very detailed, classy baby book, this is for you. However, I returned it for two main reasons: 1) I think this is way too detailed for the friend I'm shopping for. I didn't want her to feel overwhelmed by filling out the journal, and so I opted for something much simpler. 2) There is a slight leaning toward Christian customs, which is not applicable to the friend I'm shopping for. One of the first few pages is for information on the baby's Godparents, which would go unused. Similarly under the holidays section the description clearly indicates Christmas. I want my friend to be able to use the space for whatever she feels is most meaningful in raising her first child.

BEAUTIFUL, but too detailed for what I was looking for

As others mentioned, it doesn’t really go into a lot of detail with monthly milestones or allow for “editing” (taking out or adding pages). However I love how it tells a story to your little one about their first year. It’s on the small side so I printed out wallet sized pictures.

I am going to give this to my daughter in the next few days. She is pregnant with her first. I think it looks like a great but thank you

We really love this baby book. The art is quite beautiful. Personally, my partner and think the pop-ups are kind of a waste of space (even though a lot of people like them). I know it's difficult to create something for all families, but it is kind of bummer that it mentions specific family members (e.g. brothers & sisters) multiple times. This is for our first (and only child). There is a spot for handprints and footprints at one year, but none before! That was the oddest miss for us--but we're going to do it anyhow, on one of the tabs. :) That said, those complaints are relatively minor, and we liked it a lot better than the other options.

I really enjoy this book. It covers before birth activity you can share with your partner and family. If you tend to follow the spiritual side of things, I love that it also follows astrology. The pales opaque color scheme is easy on the eye and there built in envelope and fold out that really... keeps me engaged. It’s a wonderful way to spend time with your partner and family with the topic of your child. Physically representing all the efforts of love you have in this cute whimsical package. If you look at the cover and enjoy it’s style, look no further. I have looked far and they were mixed bags usually. Get this or any other, there’s no wrong answers. Do it for your baby. But this one is cute.

Superb baby book

No baby book is perfect, but this one comes pretty close. It does say mommy instead of mummy, but it’s of high quality, the pop up pictures are superfluous, but I know my little baby girl will love them when she’s older and goes through that phase of being obsessed with her baby story. It’s a great book and would be a wonderful gift to a new mom.

Beautifully illustrated and special

Beautiful and unusual baby book. Very American (mom rather than mum / mam) but I can put up with it as the sketches and pop up bits are beautiful. It's something really special to keep for baby and to look back on. I bought it myself but would happily buy another as a gift for someone expecting. It would make a lovely present for a baby shower.

More of an illustration kinda book than a place to keep memories... disappointing

Beautiful illustrations, very little place to record important milestones such as my first teeth, my first holiday, my first time sitting up.. instead has full pages for non important things like star sign, Chinese zodiac which aren’t things you need to be remembered of... if what you’re looking for is a place to keep memories this is not worth getting, quite disappointing

Fabulous baby book. Great gift idea.

I have been looking for such a long time for a baby book and this did not fail to deliver. It has lovely images and lots of cute things, such as a Star Sign dial. Really lovely gift.

I have been looking for something like this for a while. I came across this specific baby book by accident and ordered it as I didn't love any of the other baby books. Once it arrived, I checked through it and loved it! Great for new mums who want to keep track of events, memories and milestones!
