Petite Anse Beachfront Hotel & Restaurant offers romance, great food and a refreshing escape. With a spectacular view from every room stretching over to the islands of Carriacou and the Grenadines, you'll be relaxing in a spot that has been described as 'idyllic, pristine and romantic'. Nestled under swaying palm trees in a beautiful tropical garden, we overlook a stunning palm-studded beach. Leatherback turtle watching, a boat trip to beautiful Sandy Island and good hiking are all accessible. Independent travellers who want to escape the madding crowd and discover the real Grenada will love the location and ambience. We offer weddings, honeymoons, blessings, retreats for yoga and business and other occasions. We grow as much of our own organic produce as we can for our restaurant and bar. We also have a pool and a beach. We may be a 90 minute drive away from the airport, but when you arrive you'll know why our guests return time and time again.

Was booked into this hotel for 3 nights in August. Stayed in the Mango cottage, with a gorgeous view of the small beach, nearby islands and the Atlantic Ocean. The room itself was very clean and basic, in that it had exactly what was required and no more. Airco worked to perfection and kept the room temperature cool, which was seriously needed, especially in the hot evenings. The breakfast was simple and plentiful, with a variety of local fruits, juices and breads. English breakfast was the standard option with local breakfast needing to be ordered a day in advance. Although we forgot to order it, the waitress managed to get us the local breakfast on our final morning, so big shout to her! The cocktails on offer at the bar were a bit hit and miss, with the strawberry daiquiri being too watery, but the Petit Anse special cocktail was delicious and very strong! The one downside to the hotel is that there is very little else in the vicinity. If you don't have a car then you will have problems, as even the walk back to the main road is an effort in the heat. Would have been nice to have a few local restaurants to choose from. All in all, the hotel itself was great with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great and the view spectacular. Last word goes to the little cat who was very persistent and wanted constant attention! …

What a fabulous hotel. We visited Petite Anse a few times during our stay in Grenada and loved every minute. Philip, Donna, Melvin and all of the staff were just amazing. The food was delicious and we had the best massages ever by Dion. If you are visiting the island this is an ESSENTIAL destination. We will definitely be back!

We hired a car for a day and drove up to Petite Anse for lunch. Quick and friendly service for a light meal on the terrace ovelooking the northern point of the island. Meals are cooked to order so don't expect 'instant service' - sit back and enjoy the view across to the neighbouring islands with a cooling drink in your hands. The hotel is a little off the beaten track so you will need a car or a taxi to get there, but it's worth it! We look forward to our next visit.

My wife and i were at the Petite Anse in May. It is certainly nothing fancy but it is very clean. It is quite isolated and hard to find. It is very hard to get to if you are a driver. The roads in Granada are awful and poorly marked. They are quite narrow with (often) ditches on the side. Regardless the hotel was quite nice and the restaurant was good. Unfortunately there are few places to eat other than the hotel. We found none. To travel at night is not advisable. It is a beautiful spot! The staff was very nice. Go on the Sunday hike and meet the local expat Brits. If you want a restful time time this is the place but be prepared for the roads.
Room Tip: These are pretty little cottages

We spent 3 nights in Petite Anse. When we arrived it was raining and windy so not quite the Caribbean experience we had expected! The room we had which was a bungalow very near to the beach was traditional but quite dated. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable the mattress was hard and the frame was creaky! However the staff had decorated the room for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The restaurant menu and food was basic but we had a couple of nice meals. I would definitely recommend a car if you are staying there as the hotel is quite remote. The most memorable part of our trip was a day on Sandy island. The hotel sent us off with a packed lunch and fish for the bbq which was cooked for us on the island. They also provide snorkelling gear and life vests for the boat ride which we wish we had taken as the sea is very choppy on the way there! But definitely worth a visit. …

We were considering staying here for a week, so drove up for a quick lunch. A laminated menu is never a good start in my view, but anyway.. Long story short, we are not going to stay as a week of that food would be far too depressing. Location suburb, but that is only part of a hotel.

Thank you for coming to visit. Sorry to say we aren't a five star property but hoping you found something that suited your style in Grenada. It's a laid back Caribbean island and as such nothing is perfect. But glad you stopped by anyway and wishing you all the best.

Don't underestimate how long it takes to travel around Grenada - it might be a small island, but we took 2 1/2 hours to travel from the South near the airport. But what an adventure and we covered the island on our journeys! The hotel looks beautiful perched on the hillside and the roar of the sea below is constant. We visited on a windy day so the front terrace was rather optimistic for our pre-drinks, but a lovely table at the back of the terrace was the perfect spot for lunch. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, just make sure you allow the whole day to get there, have a leisurely Caribbean lunch and then home much later.... You'll find my answers in the remainder of this review rather vague because we were visiting for lunch and not using the other hotel facilities

We were having a trip round the island on the day of our flight and were a bit pressed for time but the hotel staff were very helpful sending the menu by WhatsApp and letting us order in advance. The views are stunning , the food was excellent and freshly cooked . I would make the effort to go back
