It will probably come as no surprise to you that the sex we see in porn is not an exact representation of real life. But aside from looking different, porn sex can also feel a lot different from real sex, at least according to a number of porn stars.
In Wood Rocket's newest "Ask a Porn Star" episode, "Real Sex VS Porn Sex," porn stars talk about how what they do professionally is different from what they do in their own bedrooms.

One porn star known as Franziska describes real-life sex as more "flowing" because you don't have to stop to worry about how things look on camera. Lily Ivy agrees that "you stop a lot during porn sex."
Another difference? "Sometimes you have to have sex with people you don't like, and you still have to get it up and be stoked," pointed out Arabelle Raphael. Sasha Heart also said it's totally different to have sex for work because there's rarely more than physical attraction to your partner, if even that.
According to Dava Foxx, though, if you're having sex off-camera with someone else in the porn industry, it can feel the same. Amarna Miller said it's not too different for her either because she tries to make her porn scenes as realistic as possible, though it can get distracting to consider how you look on camera. But Charlotte Gross nailed the difference that's (hopefully) evident to porn viewers: "Everything we do is for the people back home that are watching it. Something that looks good to...somebody that's sitting watching me doesn't necessarily always feel the best for me." In other words, porn stars aren't typically trying to present sex accurately—they're trying to present what people want to see. You probably already knew that, but it helps to hear it from the horse's mouth.

I've been curious if anyone I know from high school or university ever published anything. Of all the people I know I couldn't imagine at least one hasn't recorded themselves having sex and put it on the internet.
I found out that my cousin did porn because I accidentally stumbled upon one of her videos. When I looked into it, all of her "personal info" was fake. Her name, birthday, birthplace, etc was all made up. There's no way I could have found her by searching. He collected data from two surveys that perfectly described what porn stars thought about their jobs and how it shaped their lives. One survey was conducted in the year 2013 that surveyed only women porn stars and the second one was done on only men. In this survey women were asked on a scale of one ( not a bit) to ten( enjoy a lot) on how much they enjoy sex when doing it for the camera. And when male porn stars were asked, they chose an average of 8.4 on the scale of 10.
This survey is a clear contradiction to the fact and belief that porn stars do not enjoy sex because of an over dose of it at work. However, at the same time the survey doesn’t suggest that orgasms are real all the time. There might be occasions when porn actresses may have completely faked it. But apart from these, what you enjoy watching on screen is equally enjoyed by the actors, as per this survey.
Lehmiller not only collected data that spoke about the enjoyment scale, but he also gathered data that reveals the age of women and men who lost their virginity, which is at a tender age of 15.
Another very interesting observation that Dr Lehmiller pointed out and put up for us to understand is the average number of off screen sexual partners for both men and women.
The average number of sexual partners off screen as reported by these porn actresses is 74.8 per cent in their whole life time and an average of 9.6 per cent in the last year. Meanwhile it was 170.1 per cent sexual partners off screen for men in their whole lives and about 8.1 in last year.
The survey also made a very important discovery. The survey says that porn actresses had high levels of self esteem and confidence in comparison to women who did regular jobs. They could also understand spirituality better than women who have never worked for the porn industry. This one is definitely a shocker.
All the numbers that we mentioned above have been collected by Dr Lehmiller from the survey that was conducted by asking 177 porn stars(actresses) and 101 porn actors.
This survey, we are sure has busted several myths. Not only do porn stars enjoy sex both on screen and off screen, but they also reflect high levels of confidence and self esteem.
