me three, actually i know there are a couple services available where you can solo mine, which is backward imo. I want to be able to really solo mine, so i looked into modifying ckpool 46, but without any luck, there is also NOMP 46, but havent tried yet
I have tried NOMP, UNOMP and CoiniumServ
They give all the same error because the Wallet have a different RPC call and there is a way to fix it but how ?
So, any news? Is there support dont catch the mouse? Or they not want to exceed number of pools?

Can you share information about your pool?
I’m using Linux for all the servers. They are 5 Virtual Machines working:
-Web server+stratum
-Mail
-Wallet
-Database
I preferred configure every service in a different virtual machines for scalabilty and security. So, if a service had a security bug, An attacker should not be able to jump to the rest of services
I use Ubuntu Linux server with kernel 2.6 in all machines
PPC version is always the last one ). The version of the stratum is based in a old the ahmebodi stratum https://github.com/ahmedbodi/stratum-mining-multialgo 37 with some changes
The pool platform is php-mpos https://github.com/MPOS/php-mpos 14

I’ve been solo mining using this pool code:
Cryptocurrency mining pool written in C++ for speed. Supports Stratum. - hrobeers/poolserver
To set it up, you need to know what you are doing.
I changed the code so you can turn off the database stuff that is not needed for solo mining.
I guess this stuff are kind of trade secrets of mining pools.
If you can get my code working, great!
But I won’t do any fool proof packaging of this.

**UPDATE - I’ve spoken with Coinotron & they agree merge mining may have some benefits. They are investigating & will touch base in a week or 2. Multipool.us 4 has 4 merge coins for Peer mining. It is awesome but again unfortunately they don’t have the hashing power to be really competitive. Will update again soon.

In ubuntu, some boost libs need to be installed seperately.
e.g.
sudo apt-get libboost-program-options-dev
do same for all other missing boost libs.
It’s not working. I’ve try to install all unexpected library by hand.
Same error. May be cmake need other version or need put lib somewhere? Or OS version is important?
