This is a contract role where you choose your own price for guiding sessions and earn when users book you, similar to uber.
*Experience Knows* is a disruptive peer-to-peer mental health platform dedicated to the belief that "lived experience" is the most valuable credential one can own. We are the "Uber for mental health support," bridging the gap between clinical therapy and the need for real-world, empathetic guidance.
By connecting individuals in crisis with Guides who have survived and conquered similar life challenges, we provide immediate, authentic, and affordable support.
*Role Description*
As a *Guide* on our platform, you are a navigator of the human experience. Your role is not to diagnose or treat, but to walk alongside your clients—sharing the wisdom, strategies, and mindset shifts that allowed you to overcome your own obstacles.
You will act as a "Peer-to-Peer Guide," providing targeted, situational support for those navigating life's challenges such as (Toxic relationships, breakups, porn addiction, anxiety, etc) Your primary objective is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard by someone who has truly been in their shoes. You will help them set actionable goals, maintain accountability, and find the light at the end of the tunnel, just as you did.
*Qualifications*
*Lived Experience (Required):* You must have successfully navigated and *overcome* your own lived experience
*Empathetic Communication:* The ability to practice active listening and offer insights without imposing your own agenda.
*Resilience & Stability:* You should be in a place of current stability and wellness, with the emotional capacity to hold space for others who are still in the midst of their struggle.
Pay: $1.00 - $500.00 per hour
Work Location: Remote
