This mod activates Overdrill in "First World Bank" heist. This mod is meant for lobby with less then 4 real players or offline play. This will not work with lower difficulty or in stealth mode.
you need to keybind the activation of overdrill, press esc, go to "mod keybind", keybind it and press your key when you are in the vault room to activate overdrill.
This mod won't lower the difficulty (must be DW), shorten drill timer, skip the tile puzzle, allow you to complete the heist in stealth, etc. There are other mods if you want those shortcuts, but I've only tried the linked mod (works fine) so you'll need to search for yourself.
Okay so I guess a lot of people would consider this a cheat, but I wanted to try and do Overdrill solo. I know there is a lot of hate from PDTH players towards Payday 2 people coming over to get the masks and really that is not my only reason for wanting it.
Payday 2 BLT mod that allows to activate Overdrill mode in First World Bank with a key bind instead of positioning 4 players around the vault. I am not the original author of this mod, I just gathered a bunch of scripts around the web and made 'em into a single working mod.
Required Offline Mode. No vent shortcut after secured 1 money bag. Overdrill-Vault will directly open when shortcut is closed. Don't need to wait 2000s seem you're in stealth and nothing to do.
You can do Overdrill on DW/DS Loud with bots active even in Solo Offline, but you need to have a way to force the standing puzzle prerequisite to be complete and go straight into the drilling section because bots can't do said puzzle.

The solo overdrill mod does work as far as I remember (if we're talking about the same one). The keybind needs to be set up, and then pressed when in a FWB game, at least Deathwish, after it has gone loud.
PAYDAY2 re-texture project focuses on replacing all the existing game textures with a new ones. This mod allows you to reduce the skill costs to only one point each. basically you can activate overdrill instantly in stealth or loud. and you don't need to have 4 players.

Any way to activate overdrill solo? I've heard there are mods to do it, but haven't found any. Does anyone have a link to a mod which can activate it?
This is a continuation of Dr_Newbie's Overdrill Stealth and the removal of the vent from FleggyTheBunny version. My version fixes the random crashes on certain maps A couple of things to note: To get the achievement you have to trigger Loud and run back into the vault.

Waypoints wrong and correct puzzle tiles and allows only host to interact with them if the one interacting doesn't have the same mod. When team tries to interact with any of the tiles, they get tased for one second and untased, canceling out the interaction and receiving a chat message as warning.

If you want to do it solo loud, there's a mod as well that is easier to find (look for Force Overdrill or something like that). Otherwise just get 4 people to trigger the drill (but you rather should stick with them then).

I recall there was a mod allowing to do that solo, but never tired it myself (perspective of carrying ~80 bags alone wasn't too bright), neither can really point that mod to you. Just try to get some friendly group to do that with you. Also, it is possible to do Overdrill on Mayhem difficulty, it doesn't award you achievement though.
So the big reason you couldn't do Overdrill solo was because there weren't enough bots subbing in as players to actually do the placement check in inner office, but since they updated the game I started wondering if Overdrill could be done solo now that there are 3 bots to back you up compared to the original 2.
