Inspired by her love of cooking and entertaining, Paula Deen brings down-home charm to the kitchen, counter, and stovetop with the perfect touch of nostalgia. Bring some of Paula's favorites from her kitchen to yours.
Enjoy the effortless food release and easy cleanup you get from nonstick cookware at an affordable price with this 12-piece set of the pans you'll use the most in your kitchen from venerable Southern cook Paula Deen. This cookware set includes 1-, 2- and 2-3/4-quart saucepans (each with a lid), a 6-quart stockpot with lid, and 8- and 10-inch skillets. It also comes with a slotted turner and slotted spoon.
In addition to a nonstick interior, which allows for easy food release, these pans feature a speckled porcelain enamel exterior that's stain resistant and a breeze to clean up. The pans also feature aluminum construction that evenly and quickly distributes heat and dual-riveted rubberized handles for a cool, comfortable and nonslip grip. The handles are also outfitted with a copper-plated ring for convenient hanging. The tempered-glass lids lock in moisture, nutrients, and flavors while also allowing you to easily monitor the cooking progress. And they're complemented by a copper-plated knob for a kick of Southern style. Finally, the included heat-resistant slotted turner and spoon aid in stirring, flipping, and serving your culinary creations. The pans are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. Hand washing is recommended.
Paula Deen got her start with a lunchtime catering business in Savannah, Georgia called The Bag Lady before opening her successful restaurant, The Lady & Sons. And now she spreads her distinctive and authentic Southern delicacies--from real Southern fried chicken and hoecakes to Krispy Kreme bread pudding--via the Food Network and several best-selling cookbooks.

Update 04/11/11: since the time of the last review these pans have lost all the copper coloring on the bottom. they are now ugly and yellow/black/silverish bottom. I did everything I could to keep these pots and pans from discoloring. Paula Dean pans are JUNK! I will never buy something with her brand on it again.I wish I could give this purchase zero stars!
These are very good looking but ultimately very high maintenance pots and pans. When you get the pans the directions say to soak the them in baking soda and water for 20mins to remove some kind of film they spray on the pans to keep them from scratching while being shipped. The copper bottoms are very nice and the inset Paula Dean stamp in a very nice detail however, I had to send back the first set of pans because even though I followed the directions perfectly they were still ruined the first time I used them. The bottoms became discolored and burnt looking with black streaks; I even made sure not to exceed the recommended heat settings which is medium. The smallest pan in the set, a 8inch skillet, became so discolored it was yellow! Black streaks were listed as being a "side effect" if the protective film wasn't removed before use, but I knew I did everything like the directions said to do and the copper had done more than turn black it had yellowed and came off completely. I felt that maybe I got a bad batch of pans so I returned them for a replacement. This time I soaked the pans for 30mins in two boxes of baking soda. Then I used a natural sponge and a more baking soda to scrub the bottoms for 5-10mins. This time the pans have not yellowed or lost any of the copper bottom but there are still a few black spots where I assume I didn't get all the protective film. I feel as if I've done more than enough to prepare these pans for use.
They cook great so I'm just going to keep this set even though there are a few imperfections in the bottom after use. The copper accented lids and the copper sides detail look good with the rest of my stainless steal kitchen.

I'm so happy with these pans. One,they're gorgeous and look great in my kitchen and two, they're the best pans I've ever used. Mine are aqua with speckles and have a great retro look.
The width on the large pot is the exact size needed for long pastas with no leaning on the edge.
Cooking is even with no sticking.
The top edges of the pans are slightly turned in so spill over when stirring doesn't happen.
The handles are soft grip and easy to hold and control the pan.
They do need to be cleaned by hand and not in the dishwasher but I've cooked lots of stuff in them by now and cleaning is a breeze.
The pieces I received in this set are all ones I use regularly and were what I consider a great bargain.
Well, it's now 2 years later and I'm on Amazon replacing my pretty aqua Paula Deen pans with stainless steel. I was careful, only using safe utensils in my pans, hand washing them, only cleaning with nylon scrubbie or dishcloth but the nonstick coating is scratched, pocked and they are now dangerous and useless. They'll be pretty in the trash can, I guess....sigh....
Anyway, all in all, I guess the $100 I originally paid for 2 years use isn't too bad but safetywise I'm going with my mother-in-law's well seasoned cast iron frying pan for eggs, bacon and chicken and a good set of stainless steel for all the rest.
I'm buying the Cooks Standard 10 piece multi-ply clad in case anyone is interested. I hear I'll have to adjust my cooking technique a little so we'll see how it goes.

I bought this set (in aqua) after reading all the negative reviews I was half expecting the product to be a complete disappointment within a week. I knew you could only use this cookware on a ceramic stove, check, and wash by hand, double check. I live in a small older home with no dishwasher so my boyfriend and I use a counter top dishwasher that wont fit pots or pans. I only use wooden spoons and T-FAL safe spatulas. I have been using this set every day for the past three weeks and so far everything is great! The colors are still beautiful, the handles aren't sticky and are in perfect condition. Since the handles are rubber I will only use a luke warm water when washing as I've had trouble in the past using hot water on rubber handles. The non-stick works amazing! I've had T-FAL pans before but never that worked so well! The first day I got them, I tested them out I put the smallest pot on the stove since it was the only one I wasn't too concerned about and put some beans in there and put the heat on high and on my gas stove the high is extremely high! the simmer setting is usually my low and low is my medium! I let the beans burn and get crusty, had this been my old T-FAL I would have been scrubbing for hours! But the burnt mess peeled right off when I took a wooden spoon to it! I even tested the outside where some of the bean juice boiled over the side of the pot, the juice was black and hard and I couldn't get it off with a sponge so I took an SOS pad and very lightly rubbed the spot and it came off with no damage! Now I don't recommend doing all this every day as that can be hard on any pot and these shouldn't be bought for a hardcore cook, but these are perfect for us! I will definitely update in a few months with the pans progress.

I was really anticipating this to be a solid red, rather than an Easter Egg Speckle. Guess that's my fault for not fully reading the descriptions and going off the tiny pictures listed. Once out of the box though, you don't really want to try and put it back in, so guess I'm keeping these pots/pans. I bought it on Amazon for $110 and found another set in Target with more pieces for $119 that included a skillet, sort of bummed, but whatev.
Pros: I really love the handle, it's smooth and comfortable. These pots/pans cook well so far and are very easy to clean.
Cons: The pams are weighted with their lids. So if you don't use the lid, it tips to one side rather than sits flat on the stove, which is a bummer, since I cook a lot of scrambled eggs.

We have had these for about 2 to 3 years. Note that we have always hand washed the pots, but the lids we have put in the dishwasher. They are very easy to clean, thanks to the non-stick surface. Most of the lids are interchangeable. However the small skillet does not have a matching lid. We tend to get a bit of splatter on the bottoms of the pans and they are a bit hard to clean. The spatulas that came with them are pretty cheap. The description says they are oven safe but I don't think we have ever tried.

I love this cookware by Paula Deen. I got the red set for a birthday gift and promptly purchased the blue set for my son who loves to cook. I always thought cookware was cookware and that there wasn't much difference between different sets. I was quite wrong on that score. Paula Deen's cookware is amazing and everything it is advertised to be (and more). I hope Paula will come out with more pieces for this set in the future.

Doesn't really do well if it falls. They dent right away...if they get scratched they'll rust...as is expected but I did learn don't pay a ton of cookware. You'll get the same quality as if you bought slightly cheaper.
