How Satan Intercepts and Steals Our Birthrights and Blessings.

Introduction:
- The appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh was to restore to mankind, especially believers in Christ everything we lost in Adam. 

- When Adam fell in Genesis 3 by falling to the seduction of the serpent, Adam sold out his Birthright and lost everything; his dominion over all creation/ his power/ his glory/ his position etc 1 Corinthians 15:20 - 22

- But Christ came in the flesh to take back for us what we lost in Adam to Satan / to retrieve unto us/ to restore to us.

- Now that everything has been restored to us by Christ and in Christ 

- Satan has devised a strategy ;
  Satan's intention for us now is to intercept ( block) what has been restored to us to come to us/ to intercept us from getting closer to what has been restored unto us 

 To steal from us what has been restored unto us

- Our main Scriptural Reference to How Satan intercepts our Blessings and steals our Birthright is found in Genesis 25: 29 - 34 and Genesis 27: 1 - 40.

- Our Birthrights are things that are blessings that Christ has destined for us as individuals 

A. Strategies that Satan Puts in Place to Intercept and Steal from us our Birthrights and Blessings. 

 1. He sets up a spy to our Birthrights/ Blessings (Genesis 25 : 31) 

Note that Jacob was already eying Esaus Birthrights without Esaus knowledge 

Value whatever God has given you

For all you know someone is already eying something you have; some Grace you carry/ some favour You are enjoying 

Prayer: Anyone eying anything of mine/ my Birthrights/ my blessings etc

2. He sets up the Human Weakness/ The promptings of the flesh 

 • Esau became hungry = hunger

 • The devil uses hunger/ Lack/ scarcity to intercept and steal our Birthrights and Blessings

 • Watch out any time the flesh manifests a need

 • Satan incites the desires of the flesh so that we become slaves to the flesh because anything coming from the flesh amounts to nothing = John 6 : 63 / Galatians 6: 6 - 8

 The desires of the flesh must be seriously interrogated in the light of ;
= The word
= The Holy Spirit 
= ie what benefit will this desire bring to my Spiritual growth and walk with God.

 • For all you know that promptings of the flesh is a trap , a distraction leading to disaster 

 3. Creation of shortages and Lack which make us vulnerable 

Esau needed food urgently = He was famished ie extremely hungry/ starving 

 Prayer:
2022, the Holy Spirit should block every situation of Lack/ shortages/ starvation in Jesus Mighty Name. 

 4. He sets people to eavesdrop on any good conversation about you (Genesis 27 : 5 - 11)

Prayer: 
Any ear that is set up to eavesdrop on any good conversation about me; Let that ear be blocked and cut off in Jesus Mighty Name 

 5. Impersonation/ Another person wearing your image/ identity/ Birthrights
(Genesis 27: 11- 12 & 15 - 16)

Prayer: 
Taking back/ Retrieve/ Recover my Birthrights/ identity/ image 

6. He Sets up strategic Distractions/ Interruptions / Interferences (Genesis 27 : 30)

Examples:
Human Interruption
Situational 
Spiritual 

  Prayer: 
= Any Satanic strategic distractions/ Interruption/ Interference meant to cause me to loose something valuable be eternally terminated 

= Any distractions/ Interruption on my path to manifestation be Cut off in Jesus Mighty Name 

= Any Human being that has become a vessel of distractions/ Interruption/ Interference in my life, be cut off by the blood of Jesus Christ 

 7. He sets up Exchanges and Swappings / Esau was the first born but situation gave that position to Jacob

Prayer:
= Any good Position/ Promotion/ Breakthroughs /Birthrights etc that has been spiritually Exchanged;

= I reverse it in Jesus Mighty Name 

 = Anyone in my fathers house/ in my mother's house/ in my office/ at my work place/ in the church/ in my school/ in my classroom etc enjoying what should belong to me; I reverse.

Prayer Points:
= My heavenly father, wherever I lost my Birthright/ image/ identity, Offer the blood of Jesus Christ to take it back = Genesis 41: 4

= By whatever means that I lost my Birthright; with the blood of Jesus Christ, I take it back

= Any good thing we lost at the place we were brought up/ with the people we lived with; with the blood of Jesus Christ We take back/ retrieve/ recover

= Any negative thing we acquired or inherited from the people we lived with/ from the places we lived or brought up, we Reject and cast off in Jesus Mighty Name. 

= 2022 Nothing of Mine Can be sold out / lost out or stolen by the devil.
