Chocolate Gold - Chef Gillet's Favorite Chocolate Fondue

Hot Chocolate & Frozen Hot Chocolate

Our signature goblet is a true taste of the tropics. We have blended together a wonderful mix of melon, coconut and pineapple to create a taste sensation no one will be able to resist! For the final touch, we garnish this yummy goblet of goodness with lollipops
All the photos of the pretty drinks lured me into trying their virgin drinks. The lollipop passion with alcohol is 36- the virgin is 30. A tad bit overpriced if I'm having 60 ounces of juice and soda. Fries were okay, and red velvet cake was not out of this world either. You pay for the place and the hype. Nothing else
If you're coming here, please make a reservation! This place gets crowded quickly. I made a reservation to come here for my birthday on the 15th. I canceled it by accident because I wanted to arrive at a different time. I was told by the hostess that I'd have to come back an hour later for a table. Then I had to wait about 30 minutes later for a table. Sugar Factory is very popular, so everyone is interested in the popular Goblet drink. My friend and I were able to sit down at a table meant for four people. We were to move over to the other table for two. I proceeded to order the Apple Pie A La Modé as well as the Lollipop Passion Goblet. A sparkler was added onto my dessert as well since it was my birthday present. My waiter was very kind and nice to me. The Lollipop Passion had a multitude of flavors. It was very big and strong with smoke from the dry ice that flew outside of the glass. This drink is not meant for one person to drink by their self. Share it with someone. This drink is $36, so I do advise sharing it with another person as well. My friend ordered a Martini. The waiter was very flirty with me as well. The Apple Pie A La Modé was very tasty. It came with vanilla bean ice cream. It was very tasty. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me when it came with the sparkler. I definitely do recommend this dessert if you're stopping by here. One thing I can not stress enough is to please make a reservation. If not, you will be waiting for about two hours for a table. Except for that, everything else was good. The drink is very expensive so be ready to share with someone as well. I was unable to finish my drink. I definitely do recommend the Goblet to try!
Overhyped and overpriced. Make a reservation if you want a table!! The wait time for Sugar Factory is always pretty long during peak hours (2+ hours). But, you always have the option of sitting at the bar (21+) and the seats there open up relatively quickly. I was excited to try the goblets because I have a sweet tooth and love candy. It was way too sweet. It felt nauseating drinking all that sugar. We split the classic flavor ( lollipop passion ) between 3 people and it literally felt like drinking sugar water. We couldn't finish it. Don't order one of these for only 1 person. However, I can see why people want to try it. The presentation was great and the goblet remained bubbly for some time. It was a fun experience, but I can't justify the taste. The restaurant atmosphere itself was nice and there were many people celebrating birthdays. This is the place to go if you don't mind sacrificing taste for fun vibes.
I went to NYC for my 21st birthday and decided to go to the Sugar Factory as I had seen their drink menu. MAKE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE! I made reservations and ended up getting a seat earlier! I ordered the lollipop passion which is a 60oz drink that I shared with my friend and we ordered burgers along with my cousin and her friend ordered pasta. This place is dark, not very well lit and it is so hard to hear one another that you literally have to scream at the top of your lungs. Tables are very close together and you can hear everyone's conversation! If there's a loud table next to you, forget about talking. I ordered a side of bacon for my burger which the server had forgotten, she ended up brining it and did not charge me for it. I had a great time because I had just turned 21 and came all the way from Canada! I would most definitely go back and try another 60oz goblet drink! There's a lot of drinks to choose from and you can order them non-alcohol as well. This is more like a bar/restaurant. If you want to buy candy there, it's pretty pricey, and they are only two restrooms. It is in the "meat packing district" which I guess is like a club/bar district.
I adore the Sugar Factory simply because of its signature goblet drinks which can come with or without alcohol. I've been here twice in the past year and find myself craving the delicious concoctions they pour into massive glasses with some sort of lollipop stick or gummy candy. I've tried and love the Lollipop Passion Goblet and the Energy Bear Goblet. I haven't tried much of the food menu, but the Fried Mac & Cheese Pops are delicious appetizers. I've tried them quite a few times from other restaurants only to hate them, but the Sugar Factory transformed my view on them. As for the burgers... Pretty terrible. I ordered the Signature Sugar Factory Burger, and, let me just say, everything seems fine and yummy when your plate comes, but gosh darn, you're doomed once you bite into it. The buns are so stale, and I experienced this both times I dined here. I should've learned from my first visit, when I had ordered the Sugar Factory Club Sandwich, but I had been hoping it was a one time thing. Well, it wasn't. My friend and I literally removed the bottom bun which seemed more stale than the top and cut off a portion of the top bun after having a few bites. By the time our waitress came to remove our plates, there were chunks of bread all over our plates, ready to be thrown in the garbage where they belong. A lot of chunks. It was that bad. We just couldn't keep eating it with the seemingly old bread, so we ate everything INSIDE of the burger instead. Aside from the food and drinks, the place is pretty cute, even though its unbearably small and cramped. It would be much more successful and less annoying for walk in diners if it was a bit bigger. Also, the music is fun and energetic but it wouldn't hurt much if the volume of the speakers was lowered down a tad bit. I had to speak a bit too loudly to be heard by my friend who was sitting a foot away from me. Nonetheless, I love this place. Just not the burgers.
I have to admit, I was a bit underwhelmed. There is definitely so much hype about the sugar factory, and while the menu is definitely unique and candy themed, the drinks and food are mediocre. My party and I did opt for one of the most popular goblets- the lollipop passion , which was way too sweet. Once we got to the bottom of the drink it was nothing more than drinking straight sugar. My turkey burger was nothing special either. While I never eat sweets, I did opt for a Sunday (as this was a celebratory dinner) which I could have made at home. The space is small and it does get loud. It's not that I wouldn't go back, but money (especially for the goblets) is better spent elsewhere.
I've now been to Sugar Factory twice. The second time I went was just last night, I went with my girlfriend, her sister, and her sister's boyfriend
