The Part-Time Intern is responsible for day-to-day operations, administration, task management, data entry, participant interfacing, and tracking information for the English Access Microscholarship Program. As a member of the American Councils Uzbekistan team, the Part-Time Intern will also be expected to support and administer daily programming. This position reports to a AC Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and will also work directly with program staff in the American Councils Washington, D.C. office.

Job Responsibilities

The Part-Time Intern will work closely with the American Councils Uzbekistan office and primarily within English Access Microscholarship Program and Educational Leadership Development Program portfolio. The Intern will support programmatic implementation efforts related to monitoring and implementation of the program activities. The Intern will work part-time for a minimum of 3 months. Scheduling an extension of the internship will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Day-to-day position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Assisting in data collection, supporting daily data entry monitoring and verification of the tools completion of the program participants

· Assisting in designing data collection tools, templates, and regular data visualization and presentation

· Assisting in updating the monitoring system with monitoring reports, progress on project activities, photographs, transcripts, PowerPoint presentations, etc.,

· Supporting M&E Specialist in providing technical support to program participants for M&E related activities including training of program participants on data entry and the use of the system, skills, and tools

· Assisting in scheduling travel arrangements and booking tickets, making lodging arrangements

· Assisting in supply purchases,packing and delivery

· Assisting in the preparation/posting of publications in program media channels

· Liaising with participants outreach for English Access Microscholarship Program participants, teachers, and coordinators

· Responding to various questions/inquiries received from program participants

Qualifications

· Currently enrolled university students (3rd – 4th-year bachelor students, graduate students) with interest/background in economics, education, education policy, project management, and social sciences.

· Must speak, read, and write Uzbek and Russian with native-level proficiency / Fluency in English

· Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); Zoom platform experience

· Outstanding time management, organization, and planning skills

· Proactive, independent, and flexible in task management and program implementation

·Demonstrated excellence in communication and multicultural interpersonal skills

· Flexibility to occasional work on weekends and evenings

· Familiarity with AC Programs is an advantage

Compensation

• THIS IS AN UNPAID TEMPORARY PART-TIME POSITION. Upon successfully completing the internship, Interns will receive a certificate and work references from American Councils.
