Role Description The Part Time Business Process Architect contract role is a remote position responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving business processes across client organizations. Day-to-day tasks include assessing current workflows, documenting process maps, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing optimized process designs aligned with business goals. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into clear process documentation and standards. The Business Process Architect will support implementation of process changes, monitor performance metrics, and recommend continuous improvements. This position also contributes to best practices, governance frameworks, and alignment with digital transformation initiatives
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Business Process Improvement and Business Process Re-engineering, with experience redesigning workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
* Practical knowledge of Business Process Management and Business Process frameworks, including modeling, documentation, and governance.
* Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, diagnose process issues, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, and communicating complex process concepts in clear, accessible language.
* Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN tools, Visio, Lucidchart) a
* Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time contract commitments, and prioritize multiple client initiatives.
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in BPM or process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are an asset.
* Consulting experience or prior work in digital transformation, operations, or continuous improvement is beneficial.
