Street Fighter 6, the latest entry in the long-running series, will have a 2nd Closed Beta Test! Check out the details and apply for your chance to take part.
Due to unauthorized reselling of access codes for the 1st Closed Beta Test, we have made changes to the application process. We appreciate your understanding. When applying for the closed beta, you must now already have your CAPCOM ID and platform account linked. Please ensure that your accounts are linked before applying.
The aim of the Closed Beta Test is for us to monitor the play experience of participants, identify any potential issues, and then address them in order to improve the quality of the game. As such, it is possible that errors may occur during the test that cause the game to freeze or close during gameplay. The test sessions will use a version of the game still in development. As a result, we cannot guarantee a smooth gameplay experience. Please bear all of this in mind when taking part in the test. A survey for feedback to be shared with the development and operation teams will be sent out to everyone who participates in the Closed Beta Test. We would really appreciate if all of the Closed Beta Test participants answer the survey as fully as possible. Note: Please understand that not all requests and suggestions provided through the survey will be implemented.
- Some bugs have been fixed. - Fixed an issue that would cause the game to freeze if you tried to sign out of your profile while in the Battle Hub.
Added an option to reduce input delay in the Graphics menu. Turning this option on will shorten the gap between your inputs and the action happening on-screen. This is especially useful if you are using a monitor capable of displaying at 120Hz on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. For the Steam version the same effect can be achieved by turning this option on, setting Vsync to off, and setting the refresh rate to 120 Hz or higher. Please note that depending on the monitor, you may experience some tearing.
Behavior Adjustments - Adjusted how input delay works when the connection status causes frequent changes to the delay (represented by the D value at the top of screen), so that it will no longer decrease in a round where there has been an increase. Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where spectating one battle cabinet while queued up at another cabinet caused a communication error and a black screen when the match you're spectating is about to end. - Fixed an issue in Extreme Battle where if a projectile was on the screen, and Juri attacked an explosive with Fuhajin, she would be stuck in the Fuhajin animation until the projectile disappeared.
Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where the Frame Meter would not work correctly if you chose to restore default settings.
- Fixed some bugs, as well as tweaked some aspects of the game related to controls and overall strategy. - There are no individual character adjustments since the last Closed Beta Test. Behavior Adjustments -Adjusted Modern Controls so that a crouching heavy kick will be performed when pressing down-forward+Heavy Attack. *Please note that this is not listed in the in-game command list, and if you try to perform the attack currently listed in the command list, it may differ from the attack that comes out. 1. Jamie - Phantom Sway Appears in the command list as Down+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy , but in battle is performed with Down-forward+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy 2. Guile - Phantom Dagger Appears in the command list as Down+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy , but in battle is performed with Down-forward+Heavy, Heavy, Heavy 3. Chun-Li - Water Lotus Fist This move is in the command list, but if you perform Down-forward+Heavy while using Modern control type, you will get Chun-Li's crouching heavy kick instead, and not Water Lotus Fist. - When performing a Super Art command such as Quarter-Circle Forward x 2 or Quarter-Circle Back x 2, the input delay going from down to forward or back is now 12 frames instead of 10 frames. - Crouching medium kicks that can be canceled into special attacks now have a hitstop of 9 frames instead of 10 frames. Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where if you performed a Half-Circle Forward command to perform a Quarter-Circle Forward special move, you would instead get an attack attached to the "Shoryuken" command input. Balance Adjustments - Perfect Parrying a projectile now has the same damage scaling when attacking an opponent during their recovery as Perfect Parrying a strike. - If you continue your parry stance after Perfect Parrying a projectile, if you release the parry within a certain period of time, no recovery time for releasing the parry will occur. Level 1 Super Arts for all characters no longer have projectile invincibility. Ryu Adjustments Balance Adjustments - To go along with the invincibility change made to all Level 1 Super Arts, Ryu's Hashogeki and Shin Hashogeki are now considered strikes and not projectiles. Other minor battle-related bugs have been fixed.

Street Fighter 6 requires a CAPCOM ID linked with an account for the platform you wish to play on. You must have your platform account and CAPCOM ID linked at the time of applying for the Closed Beta Test. Please ensure that they are linked before applying. Note: A platform account linked with a CAPCOM ID cannot be changed later. In addition, a different CAPCOM ID cannot be linked with an already linked platform account, even if the CAPCOM ID initially linked with the platform account is deleted. Please be aware that unlinking a CAPCOM ID from the account of your desired platform will mean that you are unable to participate in the Closed Beta Test on that platform. - The platform you choose to play on when applying cannot be changed later. - The platform account linked to your CAPCOM ID cannot be changed later. To ensure that does not happen, please check that your CAPCOM ID country and region settings are correct when registering for the Closed Beta Test. These terms shall apply to the people who enter the participant lottery for the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test stipulated below. Only people who are 18 years old or older can participate in the closed beta test. If you want to participate in the closed beta test, please agree to these terms and then enter the participant lottery. If a minor intends to enter the lottery, permission from that person’s legal representative will be necessary, in addition to agreeing to these terms. People who do not agree to these terms, as well as minors who have not obtained permission from their legal representative, cannot enter the lottery.
A tester shall understand that the intent of the test is to accomplish the Company’s workplace objective of adjustment aimed at completion of the Game and shall consent to the matters of each of the items below.
In the event the Company has discovered a player who participated in the test through a loan, sale, transfer of, or by inheriting the right to participate in the test from a tester, the Company shall be able to immediately stop that player’s participation in the test.
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the content that the Company provides in relation to the test will attribute to the Company. An applicant (including people who subsequently become testers; hereinafter in the next article the same) shall be able to use the relevant content only within the scope that is allowed under these terms and shall not be able to use the relevant content beyond the scope planned by these terms.
These terms shall follow the laws and ordinances of Japan for all matters, including the establishment, efficacy, interpretation, and exercise of these terms. The Tokyo District Court will be the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance for all disputes related to these terms or the test.
Capcom Co., Ltd., (the Company) will collect and use personal information as stated below in relation to the implementation of a closed beta test (the test) for Street Fighter 6 (the Game). Please carefully read the information below and then apply only if you agree.
The Company will obtain and use the personal information below in relation to receiving applications and conducting the tester lottery.
In relation to a person who has been selected as a participant in the test as a result of the lottery (tester) participating in the test, the Company will collect and use the personal information below.
The purposes are for the Game’s development and completion, service improvement, development of new functions, and development of even better games and services in the future, and for the Company’s legitimate interests of conducting data analysis for marketing and promotional activities (including public release of statistical data).
*A platform ID is included in the information that the Company collects; therefore, if the customer uses the same platform ID as that of the test to play another game by the Company, the information that has been collected for the test may be used in combination with the information that has been collected for the other game.
*As a result of using the Capcom ID, the Company’s universal account service to play, a player’s information in relation with the test may be used in combination with information that the player provided for use of another service subject to the Capcom ID. Irrespective of the tester’s country of residence, the data stated above will be sent to and stored on servers in Japan that the Company manages, as well as servers in Japan and the United States of cloud business operators with which the Company has agreements. All matters concerning the handling of personal information related to the test that are not stated on this page will be as stated in the Company’s Capcom Game Privacy Policy .
