Parker McKenna Posey owes her success as an actress to a lot of things outside of the big screen – modeling, TV commercials, and stage plays. Parker McKenna Posey is the daughter of Polo Posey and actress Heather Stone. She was born on August 18, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. The actress is of African-American and Native American descent on her father’s side, while her mother is of Italian and Irish descent.
Parker McKenna Posey was raised in a large family. She has five siblings namely Jewel, Carl, half-brother Khari, half-sister Dilynne, and another half-brother named Jake.
She spent all her life on the west side of the US.
Parker McKenna Posey started her career modeling and she was just two years old. She was in Kodak commercials after which she modeled for Disney. Her mother’s wealth of experience in the show business helped prepare her for the journey in the art. She concluded her child-modeling by appearing in a promotional campaign for Old Navy.
Parker McKenna Posey made her acting debut at the age of four on ABC sitcom “My Wife and Kids” where she portrayed the character of young Kady Kyle in the Kyle family. The sitcom was canceled after five seasons but while it was on, her character developed and she was nominated for different award categories like the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series Comedy or Drama, Best Young Actress Age Ten or Under. She was also nominated for the Young Artist Award alongside her co-stars, for Best Ensemble in a TV Series Comedy or Drama.
Parker McKenna Posey made guest appearances in “NYPD Blue’” in 2001 and in 2004, she appeared as Lily on the feminist medical drama series “Strong Medicine”. Parker McKenna Posey made her film debut in 2007 when she portrayed the character of Elizabeth in the film “Alice Upside Down”.
The actress also has some theater credits under her belts. She made her theater debut in “Restless Peace” a Blank Theatre Company production. She also appeared in another theater play “Shock Therapy”. Parker McKenna Posey was in the series “iCarly”, “Meet the Santas” and “Summer Camp”.
A large number of stars would want their relationship status hidden under a rock but only a few succeed in achieving this in a world where fans and the unrelenting media want to know everything. Parker McKenna Posey wanted to play that secrecy game. She wanted to keep fans guessing who captured her heart. She was successful to an extent until famous blogger Sandra Rose declare her bisexual.
How did the movie star take this? She allowed her mother to do the talking. Her mother Heather Stone wrote to the blogger setting the records straight by revealing the sexuality of her daughter and who she was dating. A name was mentioned and it was Mandela Van Peebles.
This was accompanied by so many pics the actress shared on her Instagram page where she was kissing and spending quality time with her man. Dating a man doesn’t make you straight – you could be making out a girl somewhere. Poser broke up with Peebles in 2013.
Later in 2015, the actress fuelled dating rumors with the rapper Problem after they were spotted holidaying in Honolulu, Hawaii. They shared cozy pictures on their social media channels but said nothing about the dating rumors.
In 2018, Chris Sail who was revealed to be her ex-husband was arrested by the police for assaulting her.
As of 2020, Parker McKenna is presumed single or cozying about.
In May 2021, Posey announced via a video on Instagram that she had given birth to her daughter whom she named Harvey. She did not reveal who the father of the baby is, and, so far, the blogosphere is yet to dig him out.
The actress is worth a mere 300 thousand dollars. That’s what some actors earn in a 30 minutes-episode on TV. The actress has not made many film and TV appearances in her career. In fact, she once removed her acting gloves and went for a six-year break. During these years she was absent in the industry, she would have made more trips to her bank.
