During his career, Pohang won one K-League championship (1992), one Korea Football Association (FA) Cup championship (1996), and two Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League championships (1996-1997, 1997-1998).


Park Tae-ha, who was ranked as the best 11 midfielder in 1992, played as a starting player. He played in 261 matches in the K-League for nine seasons excluding his mandatory military service, and scored 46 goals and 37 assists. He was a troubleshooter.

Park, who began his leadership career with Pohang in 2005 after retiring from active duty, led Pohang to its K-League victory with Farias as a coach in 2007.

Coach Park also took over as chairman of the Korea Professional Football Federation's technical committee in 2020 and has been studying the latest trends in football tactics at the Technical Research Group of the Technical Committee.
