Paris Macao Attends 5th MICE India & Luxury Travel Conference
Sands China Limited, a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands, will partner with MICE India and Luxury Travel (MILT) Congress to showcase the newly opened Paris Macao in Cotai in conjunction with the event's new platinum partner, Venetian Macao. MILT Congress provides a platform for Meetings, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) and luxury travel sourcing. Paris Macao opened.
Stephanie Tanpure, Sales Executive Director, Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao, said in a press release, "This property, the flagship property of Cotai, Venice, is set to hit the Indian MICE market. It is only through channels like MILT Congress that Venetian Macao and Paris Macao can restore their offerings to the Indian market."
MILT Congress is organized by Dubai-based QnA International, which boasts high-profile customers in banking, travel and tourism, software, and high-end retail. For the fifth year, the event has grown from a small gathering of important participants to a premier B2B networking platform that hosts industry leaders representing India's largest filmmakers, top companies, and destination wedding planners for the rich and famous.
India has the highest business travel growth rate in the world. The 5th MICE India & Luxury Travel Competition will be held in Mumbai, the financial capital of India, and Delhi, the political capital. Each city will see two days of meetings in Mumbai and Delhi. About 2,250 meetings were hosted in the two-day meeting.
The meeting facilitates meetings between global hospitality and travel providers and Indian executives seeking long-term partnerships and the ability to offer discount packages for future MICE & Luxury Travel purposes.
Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao has shown strong business in the Indian market, according to Tanpour. "Our numbers are up 20% year-over-year from Indian travelers and we feel confident in the Indian market. We are very happy to see a steady increase in the number of visitors to India with the integrated resort. This year, the reaction we saw in the MICE segment alone was very promising," Tanpour explained.
Macau in Paris is a round, integrated casino resort inspired by the city of Paris, France, featuring a one-half scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. It includes 3,000 luxury rooms and suites, a grand ballroom, five conference rooms, two board rooms, a fully equipped business center, an outdoor event space and a 1,200-seat Paris theater.
