I'm posting this as it was requested by Steffy Jensen. I've always been uncertain about this picture but Steffy was enthusiastic about it so I've made it public on my Flickr pages. I recall prior to putting on my make up for this photo session I decided to really go for it with my eyebrows and try a thin very shaped look. After I had plucked them I realised there was no going back as my plucked brows were going to be very obvious in male mode. I was too excited at having dared to do it and enjoyed how they looked as applied my make up, I felt quite girly!
On reflection I now understand the secret is not thinly plucked shaped eyebrows but eyebrows that have a nice shape, they don't always have to be thin looking. I much prefer how my eyebrows look these days but I needed to try the thinner shape to get it out of my system.
I won't deny it caused a lot of trouble at home as my family tolerate my cross-dressing but really wish I would stop doing it. This was crossing a line for them and I am now pleased that I've realised a nice shape is what counts not the thickness. It means I can have slightly more feminine eyebrows in male mode but it does not look too obvious.
I digress, my approach for this picture was to try and take some high contrast, colourful photos with strong defined studio lighting. I had been reading Vogue and was influenced by a series of photos I saw. The look required very well defined make up so I did make my eyeliner application a lot sharper and heavier than usual. I darkened my eyebrows considerably with brown pencil and I applied four layers of thick panstick foundation onto my face and chest to try and get a colourful but consistent look to my skin and of course cover up my beard shadow.
I completed the look by painting on several layers of purple/pink matte lipstick and brushed on lots of red/brown tone blusher. After clipping on my ear rings and donning my wig I chose a tight fitted woman's shirt which I wore with the top three buttons undone to hint at some mild cleavage and show off the shape of my (false) breasts. Not visible in the photo is the black pencil skirt I wore, flesh coloured tights over my freshly shaved legs and a pair of black stiletto court shoes.
I was so into being this woman I got a bit carried away and turned up the collar of my shirt and dabbed on some perfume...I was in heaven!
I do genuinely love to dress and become female and this photo session was one I really enjoyed. I never like having my photo taken as a man yet once I'm in make up and a dress I'm totally into it and I feel very comfortable pretending I am a woman.
On the technical side I used the ten second self timer on a digital SLR camera and two studio flash heads. One firing through a one meter square soft box as the main light to my face and one as a back light firing through a honeycomb grille to highlight my hair(wig) and shoulders.

I worked at a small retail store and they encouraged their employees to dress up for Halloween. My store had 6 employees all women and I was the only guy. All the employees came up with a group costume pimp and hoe with me being the pimp. My reaction was why do you all get to have the fun? What if I wanted to be a hooker? To my surprise they said ok you can be a hooker also. My next day off I told my mother about my Halloween plans at work. She said oh I got a dress you can use, she then gave me a red leopard print dress with slits up to the hips on both sides and a pair of black thigh high boots. I found a belt at a thrift store that said BAD GIRL and I also picked up a pair of black opaque tights. When I tried everything on I didn’t like what I saw, mainly my gut sticking out the tight dress. I showed my mom and she said I looked good. I showed her my gut problem and she said I got something for that. She brought me a one piece bodice with a built in bra and said here this will suck it in and give you a set of breasts. Halloween day I got up early to get dressed I combed out my hair. I did not need a wig my hair was shoulder length. I was an avid hiker at the time and the sun lightened my hair. So I had long red hair with blond streaks in it. After putting on the tights I go to put on the body suit only to realize it was a thong. I put socks in my bra for boobs and added eye makeup and a pair of girl sunglasses and I was off to work. Before I left my parents wanted a few pics of me got some with my car and others on my dads Harley. When I arrived at work I was getting hit on as soon as I got out of the car. Who could blame him? He saw a hot blond pulling up in a bright red 68 mustang. He said he didnt know you was a guy until you spoke. He was right about you you do make a good looking woman.” I got a phone call from a former worker she asked me what was I doing. I said working she said” Im at the grocery store and over heard some people saying you have to go to the dollar store and see the hot as f#@k trannie. I knew you was the trannie.” The grocery store was on the other side of town. That was how my day went I was being hit on my boots got filled up with numbers. I even had pictures taken with me and of me. When I got off work a friend of mine pulled up and said get in I want to take you to see my mom. So I seen her family and then her girlfriends family. All had great reactions her mom has an 8x10 of me in her living room to this day. One of the cashiers at work was flirty with me that day she told me the next day she and her friends thought I was hott. She was into guys that crossdress.
