PRIVACY POLICY FOR ALIBABA & ALIEXPRESS DISCOUNT CODES

Alibaba & AliExpress Discount Codes is a Chrome extension that provides discount-code information and access to promotional offer pages for Alibaba and AliExpress.
- Information handled by the extension
The extension detects when the user navigates to an Alibaba.com or AliExpress.com domain.
The extension stores two timestamps locally on the user's device:
• The last time the Alibaba promotional offer was automatically opened.
• The last time the AliExpress promotional offer was automatically opened.
These timestamps are used to ensure that each promotional offer is opened no more than once every 24 hours.
The extension does not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, account details, passwords, authentication credentials, payment information, health information, personal communications, precise location information, page content, search queries, form entries, keystrokes, or mouse activity.
- How information is used
The limited browsing information and locally stored timestamps are used only to provide the extension's stated functionality:
• Detecting visits to Alibaba and AliExpress.
• Determining which promotional offer is relevant.
• Preventing the same promotional offer from opening more than once within a 24-hour period.
The information is not used for profiling, personalized advertising, credit decisions, lending decisions, or unrelated analytics.
- Local storage
The timestamps are stored using Chrome's local extension storage on the user's device.
The extension does not transmit the stored timestamps or a record of the user's browsing activity to the extension publisher or to an external analytics server.
Local extension data is deleted when the user uninstalls the extension.
- Affiliate links
The extension contains affiliate promotional links for Alibaba and AliExpress. The extension publisher may receive a commission when a user visits an offer or completes an eligible purchase.
Affiliate participation does not increase the price paid by the user.
When an Alibaba or AliExpress promotional page is opened, the applicable website may receive standard information associated with a normal webpage request, such as the user's IP address, browser information, cookies, and referral information. This information is handled independently by Alibaba or AliExpress under their respective privacy policies.
The extension does not send its locally stored timestamps to Alibaba or AliExpress.
- Sharing and sale of information
The extension publisher does not sell user data.
The extension publisher does not transfer browsing history, locally stored timestamps, or other user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties.
- Data security
The extension does not operate an external database containing user browsing information.
All promotional pages are opened using HTTPS connections.
- User control and deletion
Users may stop all extension functionality at any time by disabling or uninstalling the extension through Chrome's extension settings.
Uninstalling the extension removes the information stored in the extension's local Chrome storage.
- Children
The extension is not designed to collect personal information from children.
- Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data practices change. Any material changes will be reflected on this page and in the Chrome Web Store disclosures where required.
- Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
