Myapps OU ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the AI Skin Scanner mobile application ("App").

By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

I. Information We Collect and How We Process It

Depending on your use of the App, we may process the following categories of information:

A. Identifiers

Device ID, IP address, app version, language, and operating system.

B. Internet Activity

Interactions with the App (e.g., session length, feature usage).

C. Commercial Information

In-app purchase history.

D. Facial Image Data (see Section II)

Images of your face or skin areas you voluntarily upload or capture in the App.

We do not collect:

Personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or contact details (unless you contact us directly).
Audio recordings or camera roll access without your explicit permission.
Location data.

All visual data is processed in accordance with strict privacy safeguards (see Section II).

II. Face Data Processing

The App allows users to take or upload photos of their face or skin areas to analyze visible skin conditions (such as acne, dryness, or moles) using AI.

What face data is collected?

User-submitted facial or skin images for analysis.

How is it used?

Images are processed using artificial intelligence models via trusted third-party APIs to detect visible skin features and provide non-diagnostic, informational feedback.

We currently use the following AI-based services:

OpenAI API – for general AI image and language processing.
Skinive API – for dermatological image analysis. Images may be securely transmitted to Skinive’s servers for assessment of skin conditions. Processing complies with Skinive's Privacy Policy.

Is the data shared?

Yes – temporarily and securely. Images are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to the aforementioned APIs. No personal identifiers are attached unless provided by the user. According to OpenAI’s and Skinive’s data handling policies, submitted data is not stored or used for training purposes.

Where is it stored?

By default, facial and skin images are not stored on our servers. If the user chooses to save photos to track progress, the images are stored locally on the user’s device.

How long is it retained?

Images are processed and discarded unless explicitly saved by the user. Locally stored data is under the user’s full control and may be deleted at any time.

III. Purposes of Processing

We use your information to:

Provide and improve the App's functionality.
Respond to support inquiries.
Analyze aggregated usage for performance monitoring.

We do not use your data for advertising or user profiling.

We do not sell your data.

We may share limited technical data (e.g., IP address, app version) with third-party analytics tools to understand usage trends and improve performance. These include:

AppsFlyer – attribution and marketing performance analytics.
Firebase (Google LLC) – crash reporting, performance monitoring, and analytics.
Facebook SDK – for optional social login or insights on engagement.
Apple – for in-app purchase tracking and analytics.

No facial image or sensitive biometric data is shared with these analytics partners.

We use the following third-party APIs to process image data:

OpenAI API – for general image analysis and language understanding.
Skinive API – for medical-grade dermatological skin analysis.

All transmissions to these APIs are encrypted (HTTPS), and data is not retained on their end after processing.

V. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

All API communication is encrypted (HTTPS).
Images are only stored on the device (if saved by the user).
We do not retain any face or skin image data ourselves.

Despite our best efforts, no data transmission can be guaranteed as 100% secure.

VI. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

VII. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to:

Request access to your personal data.
Request deletion of locally stored photos.

VIII. Opt-out of Marketing Tracking

You can opt out of interest-based advertising by adjusting your device settings:

On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
You may also reset your advertising identifier from Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising.

Please note that disabling tracking may affect the personalized experience in the app.

Image Processing and Third-Party Technology

This app allows users to submit anonymized skin images for automated analysis of dermatological conditions. The images are not linked to any personal data and cannot be used to identify individuals.

The analysis is performed using CE-marked technology provided by Skinive B.V., acting as a third-party service provider under a commercial agreement. Skinive functions as a technical processor of anonymized data only and does not store, reuse, or repurpose submitted images beyond the immediate analysis task.

All processing complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as the data being handled is not personally identifiable and falls outside the scope of personal data regulation.

XI. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App.
