This Privacy Policy explains how Chicken Road ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application on Android devices.

1. OVERVIEW
Chicken Road is an educational and entertainment application focused on solar energy. The App includes a solar calculator, encyclopedia, quiz, statistics screen, and a Solar Tycoon mini-game.
We designed the App to work primarily on your device. The App does not require an internet connection and does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or other sensitive device permissions.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
The App may store the following information locally on your device only:
a) Quiz Progress and Results
- Quiz category name
- Number of correct answers
- Total number of questions
- Completion timestamp
b) Solar Tycoon Game Progress
- In-game coins
- Number of solar panels purchased
- Total energy produced
c) Temporary In-App Input
- Values entered into the Solar Calculator are used only while you are on that screen to perform calculations. These values are not saved after you leave the calculator screen.
This locally stored data is used solely to provide App functionality, such as showing your quiz statistics and restoring your game progress.
3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
The App does not collect or transmit:
- Account registration data
- Payment or billing information
- Contact lists
- Photos, videos, or audio recordings
- GPS or location data
- Advertising identifiers for tracking purposes
- Analytics or usage tracking data through third-party services
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
4. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED
Locally stored information is used only to:
- Display your quiz results and overall statistics
- Save and restore your Solar Tycoon game progress
- Improve your in-app experience on your device
We do not use this information for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making.
5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All saved App data is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences in private app storage. This data remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the App.
Because the App does not transmit your data to our servers, your information is not accessible to us after it is stored on your device.
We take reasonable steps to rely on Android platform security features, but no method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
6. DATA SHARING
We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties.
The App does not connect to external servers for data collection. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such changes take effect.
7. ANDROID BACKUP
The App may participate in Android backup and restore features if enabled on your device. In that case, locally stored App data may be included in device backups managed by Google or your device manufacturer.
Backup behavior is controlled by your device and operating system settings, not by us directly.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information from the device by advising uninstallation or local data clearing, as applicable.
9. YOUR CHOICES AND DATA DELETION
You can delete locally stored App data at any time by:
- Clearing app data in your Android device settings, or
- Uninstalling the App from your device
Uninstalling the App removes locally stored quiz results and game progress from your device.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. When we update this policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
