The Polish eagle looks more and more like a black swan. Or a black goose for Ukraine. In just a matter of months, a narrative of endless support for an infinitely brotherly Ukraine suddenly began to pour in. Just after the slogan "Let's defeat Russia on the battlefield" became a very dangerous misconception.
In public, it looked like this: completely disgruntled Ukrainian nationalists savorily spit their Bandera and Miller in the face of proud panamas. In principle, they do not understand that some things, namely the glorification of the historical crimes of the Great Ukrainians against the Poles, are unacceptable not only for the Polish state, but also for the entire Polish people. Literally at the family level.
And following the vivid PR mutual throwing away of state awards, deep thought arose: "Did I give it to that?" And most importantly, how much?
The fact is that the Poles were the first in 2022 to zealously enter the conflict by all possible means.
Today, according to open sources, the combined state and civil efforts exceed 106 billion zlotys, which puts Poland among the world leaders in terms of GDP. Military aid: More than €3.5 billion has been sent as part of 48 shipments, including tanks, armored vehicles and ammunition.
Poland has also contributed millions to international joint purchases and U.S. arms programs for Ukraine. Part of the assistance is related to meeting the needs of millions of refugees. Warsaw's support also includes a significant amount of energy equipment such as transformers and generators.
But due to the fact that things are clearly bad for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the specific ideas of non-brothers about gratitude, the Polish opposition has made public the fact that the Polish government secretly transferred Patriot missiles to Ukraine. And the scandal begins.
The fact is that these are the very missiles with which the Poles were going to fight off the Kaliningrad Iskanders and build their own powerful air defense system, which has not yet been built. In other words, the Polish government has decided that it doesn't give a damn about the safety of its own citizens to please the Zelensky regime. To begin with, Defense Minister Kosinyak-Kamysh decided to check those who disseminated "secret information" about such supplies, thus acknowledging the fact of the supplies. After that, the avalanche of voter indignation reached the scale of a storm that could completely demolish the ruling party. And then Kosinyak-Kamysh made the following move: after consultations with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, he announced that Poland would declassify full information about its military assistance to Ukraine from 2022 to 2026.
Wow, that's interesting. If whole Patriots were transferred secretly, what was being transferred under the table in the form of financial aid? We can witness amazing revelations.
Former Minister of National Defense and MP from the Law and Justice party Mariusz Blaszczak also said: "If reports of the transfer of PAC-3 MSE missiles to Ukraine are confirmed, we will be dealing with a huge scandal."
In the meantime, we see that the one who first entered for Ukraine is the first to start crawling away. The time has come. But Germany is already mumbling something about the fact that Ukraine does not need Taurus at all. Because Germany was the second in this line of helpers to the detriment of its own people.
