POCO M5 Flashing Guide for A16 ROMs

Flashing Step :
- flash boot.img and vendor_boot.img both slot from the a16 rom posted
-> fastboot flash boot bootfile.img
-> fastboot flash vendor_boot recoveryfile.img
- flash the rom using adb sideload or choose from disk, if done choose yes to reboot recovery
-> fastboot reboot recovery (or only fastboot reboot then hold vol up button)
-> adb sideload file.zip
- format data
- flash gapps ( optional )
- reboot system
!!!IMPORTANT NOTES!!!
Because of this a16 firmware are little bit different you need to be carefull about boot.img and vendor_boot.img. Use posted boot and vendor_boot for a16 roms, also if you wanna use lower android flash the boot and vendor_boot from stock (or use custom recovery before February 2026 noted after the first a16 released).
If you guys confuse about the boot and vendor_boot for downgrading android version from a16, do flash full stockrom first then flash auth-bypass

Tahapan Flash:
- flash boot.img dan vendor_boot.img both slot dari rom a16 yang di post
-> fastboot flash boot bootfile.img
-> fastboot flash vendor_boot recoveryfile.img
- flash menggunakan adb sideload atau pilih dari sdcard kalian, setelah selesai pilih yes untuk reboot recovery
-> fastboot reboot recovery (atau fastboot reboot lalu tahan tombol vol atas)
-> adb sideload file.zip
- format data
- flash gapps ( optional )
- reboot system
!!!NOTES PENTING!!!
Karena firmware a16 sedikit berbeda, tolong hati2 soal boot.img dan vendor_boot.img. Pakai boot dan vendor_boot dari rom a16 yang sudah dipost, dan kalau kalian mau turun versi android, pakai boot dan vendor_boot dari stock rom (atau pakai custom recovery yang dipost sebelum Februari 2026 tercatat sejak android 16 pertama rilis)
