OBJECTIVE:

The objective of the Paul Schools Alliance is to establish a strong bond between St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and nearby schools, fostering collaboration and benefiting the community at large. The project aims to create a platform for collaboration and mutual support, offering valuable services to facilitate community engagement and provide opportunities for students to contribute their knowledge and skills. Additionally, the project aspires to build a hub which includes library, recreation site and training center.

VISION:

The vision of the Paul Schools Alliance project is to create a nurturing and supportive educational environment for students. The project envisions a strong network and partnership between the participating institutions, including the St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College Student Council, the Ethiopian Medical Students Association at St. Paul, and the other educational institution involved.

Through this partnership, the project aims to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support among educators, students, and parents. The vision is to create an environment where students have access to valuable resources and opportunities for growth, practical experience, and community engagement. Ultimately, the project aims to contribute to the educational and overall well-being of the student community.

MISSION:

The mission of the Paul Schools Alliance project is to provide valuable services and resources to the school community. These services include workshops, training sessions, career counseling, student mentorship, and access to research materials.

By offering specialized training programs, the project aims to empower students with knowledge, skills, and certifications in areas such as first aid, CPR, and basic healthcare practices. The awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions organized by the project's team will cover various health-related topics, such as hygiene, nutrition, mental health, and preventive care. These initiatives aim to improve the health and well-being of students and staff.

The project also focuses on career counseling and student mentorship. Medical students, under the supervision of qualified professionals, will volunteer as mentors to guide and inspire students. They will provide insights into the medical profession, assist students in making informed career choices, and share their experiences and knowledge.

Furthermore, the project aims to create opportunities for students to contribute their knowledge and skills while gaining practical experience and making a positive impact on the community. It also seeks to address the scarcity of recreational education center in Ethiopia especially for young generations by building a hub consisting library, training center, at the same time recreational site which will refresh the students and at the same time educate them

Overall, the mission of the Paul Schools Alliance project is to create a collaborative partnership that benefits the student community, enhances educational opportunities, improves health and well-being, and contributes to address lack of library and toxic-free refreshing areas.

PROJECT TESTING:

Before it was launched officially, Paul Schools Alliance was tested in some local schools leaving us with a great impression of the communities acceptance and looking forward to it. Hence, the project got an exquisite feedback from the schools directors, the students as well as parents.

This proved that the upcoming generation which have been drowning in crisis have been yearning for guidance.
