OVERVIEW OF PARLIAMENT 2050

With the brinksmanship of poker, the strategic workings of chess, and the haggling of selling cards, Parliament 2050 is an interesting political card game. Each player chooses a political party to be affiliated with. No two players can have the same party.

After this has been chosen, the goal is to make everyone vote with your party. If your party’s preference is majority, you earn points, based off of your point cards. Point cards let you know what you need to focus on to win the game. Win 40 points and the game is yours!

SETUP

To setup the game, each player chooses a 메이저사이트추천party to represent. After that has been chosen, each player will be given 5 voting cards based on their political choices. Each player will be dealt 4 point cards, two facing up and two facing down.

GAMEPLAY

To begin the game, a player chooses which idea to vote on. This may be Taxation, War, Regulation, and State Power. A player may argue their side, attempting to get other parties to vote with their preference.

When votes are casted, each player has the potential to receive points based on their point cards. Point cards determine which idea earns you the most points if your party’s preference is chosen. Two point cards are visible to the group, the other two are hidden.

Players do not have to vote with their party’s preference, especially if they don’t have a point card associated with that idea. Players may instead make deals with other players, agreeing to vote a certain way on certain issues and so on.

Deals must be discussed openly in the group, only when it is the initiator’s turn. Deals are non-binding, so players may break them without breaking the rules.

Gameplay continues around the group until a player runs out of voting cards. Points are then tallied for that round. Point cards are shuffled and redealt. Voting cards are then refreshed, adding 5 cards to each player’s hand. If a player has voting cards left over, they may keep those, accumulating voting cards throughout the game.

The second player becomes the player that chooses the category to vote on first. This continues until a player reaches 40 points.

END OF GAME

The game ends when a player reaches 40 points. This player is declared the winner!
