Sombra grew up in the poor regions of West Africa where she fought to survive against a large Omnic uprising. Since a young age she was able to use her hacking skills to fight against the robots, giving her community a second chance of survival.
Sombra was born in Mexico as an orphan. Growing up, she noticed her potential in technology so she used it to her advantage to get things. Till finally one day an unnamed organization caught her, forcing the young girl to go into hiding till she reemerged as Sombra.
Sombra was a member of Talon before realizing their hidden conspiracies with in the terrorist organization which she was not aware about. This made her rebel against the group and join Overwatch where she learned they were the true heroes of justice.
Sombra used to work as a regular hacker before being taken under the wing of a Talon member. Now she's one of the best in the world, hacking into systems and gathering information Talon needs to bring fear to the world.
