Overwatch on Switch is a less-than optimal way to play one of the most satisfying online games ever made, but it’s still one of the best around. Technical issues are plenty, and in most cases are noticeable, but never truly ruin the fun or makes it truly unplayable. If you already play Overwatch consistently on another console then there are very few reasons to own it on Switch – and in fact it may be extremely frustrating to go back and forth between them – but if it's your introduction the beautifully crafted world of Overwatch then it still promises a whole lot of fun.
Technical issues make Overwatch on Switch a less satisfying way to play one of the most satisfying games ever.

As it’s existed on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for the past three years, Overwatch is one, if not the singular best game I’ve ever played. The moment-to-moment action, flexibility, and lashings of style in this team-based hero shooter all combine to make it a special experience. On Nintendo Switch, however, that exhilarating gameplay is too often robbed of the true greatness it achieves on other platforms. The perpetrators of this theft are a number of technical and control issues that make the Switch a tough place to play Overwatch. It’s still fun, but if you’re coming from somewhere else it’s hard to get used to.

One thing to keep in mind is that this came is a digital download only. You should have an SD card in your switch since that thing only has 32GB. Anyway, this game runs fine. The gyro controls can take a bit of time to get used to compared to Splatoon 2 and Fortnite's version of motion controls. Gameplay wise, it's alright. You play at 30fps at 720 on portable mode. And the colors pop if you have the Oled Nintendo Switch. Sometimes, the game goes below 30 but that only happens when a lot of stuff goes on screen. I haven't played docked mode because my tv is broken, but I heard it can struggle when docked. Youre probably gonna be playing casually since I find myself playing in bed or during break and it's better than having to set up my laptop and stuff Overall, it's a good port. You can play with people via cross play and matches are fun. The game package also includes 3 months of Nintendo switch online since you need it in order to play the game.

Bought this knowing this is a digital download. The game runs mostly fine overall. The only issue am having is with gyroscopic controls. Move the Switch Lite, or the traditional Switch with the joy cons attached you'll be panning up and down and around. I rectified that with a 3rd party controller with no gyroscope. Can't really do voice chat, I have a hard time acting with my team as a cohesive unit. Unless all participants of one team are local within the same room or whatever. Those who are not are doing their own thing. The game box which doesn't come with a game cartridge comes with 3 redeem codes, one for the game, another for 3 months Switch Online service, and last is specific to Blizzard. I was amusingly confused with the last one entering that in the Nintendo eshop. The blizzard code is longer than the eshop codes. I ended up redeeming it on my Blizzard account not knowing what I got.

This seller is either completely incompetent or just a total sham. Both times I purchased the game. The codes were all expired and non-compatible with my UK switch. Customer service was horrendous and slow and ultimately nothing was done to remedy the problem. Complete waste of time and money, should be scrapped from the Amazon page all together.

El juego viene en código y es mucho más barato que en la Eshop, para ser una versión portátil se comporta muy bien, teniendo todo de las versiones de consola o PC, con la ventaja de que lo puedes jugar donde sea, lo único que si se llega a notar es el desgaste de batería puede llegar a durar 2 horas en la versión normal de la Switch.

The 3 month membership EXPIRED JUNE 30 / 2021 . My son now has to purchase a membership before even using his game in which he bought with his own money .
