Soldier: 76’s rifle remains particularly steady while unloading fully-automatic pulse fire.
Details:
This weapon has vertical recoil (despite its official description).
Each shot changes facing angle +0.098.
Tiny rockets spiral out of Soldier: 76’s Pulse Rifle in a single burst. The rockets’ explosion damages enemies in a small radius.
Direct hit: 120 Splash: 40-80 Self: 20-40
instantly + 0.5 s. recovery for primary
Launch a volley of explosive rockets.
Whether he needs to evade a firefight or get back into one, Soldier: 76 can rush ahead in a burst of speed. His sprint ends if he takes an action other than charging forward.
Details:
After Sprint is cancelled, there is a 0.3 second recovery period where Soldier: 76 cannot shoot or reload.
Biotic Field can cancel Sprint without the recovery animation.
The activation of the ability can be customized between holding the button and toggling with a single press.
Soldier: 76 plants a biotic emitter on the ground. Its energy projection restores health to 76 and any of his squadmates within the field.
0.54 seconds (can't be interrupted)
Deploy a field that heals you and your allies.
Details:
Cannot be destroyed.
Multiple fields do not stack.
Healing is only applied to targets within line of sight of the biotic emitter, ignoring enemy barriers
Soldier: 76’s pinpoint targeting visor “locks” his aim on the threat closest to his crosshairs. If an enemy leaves his line of sight, Soldier: 76 can quickly switch to another target.
Automatically aims your weapon at targets in view.

Heavy Pulse Rifle's reload time is greatly reduced.
Damage falloff is disabled.
Tactical Visor targets enemy heroes, RIP-Tire , and Immortality Field .
Soldier: 76 cannot headshot while Tactical Visor is active.
Soldier: 76 will only lock on to a target if their center of mass is visible and not behind an enemy barrier
The aim lock does not apply to Helix Rockets .

Soldier: 76 is a Damage hero in Overwatch .
Armed with cutting-edge weaponry, including an experimental pulse rifle that’s capable of firing spirals of high-powered Helix Rockets, Soldier: 76 has the speed and support know-how of a highly trained warrior.
Soldier: 76 is a well-rounded Damage hero. He's able to deal both sustained and burst damage at any range, move quickly across the battlefield, and support both himself and his team through the use of Biotic Field . His downsides are a lack of any real specialization with his weapons or abilities, no vertical movement, and a less impactful Ultimate when compared to other Assault heroes. He's a simple hero to learn to play, but a difficult one to master, making him a great pick for new players and veterans alike.

Currently the target of an international manhunt, the vigilante known as Soldier: 76 wages a personal war to expose the truth behind Overwatch's collapse. [4]
Due to his genetic enhancement, he can heal wounds and acclimatize much faster than a normal human. He has always been a light sleeper. [5] He was a fan of Indiana University basketball [6] and was also a fan of Westerns...at least until he met Cole Cassidy . [7] He is of Catholic faith. [8] He has a smile that he uses to get himself out of trouble, [5] though is usually taciturn. He is well-read, showing interest in historical generals, and is a chess player, apparently admiring Bobby Fischer . The mask he wears distorts his voice. [9]
Jack Morrison grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. [10] The young Morrison has been described in many different ways. He was a rambunctious youth. A humble, salt-of-the-earth farmer's son. But those asked all agree that Morrison was never destined to live out his days in the land of rolling plains and deep blue skies. [11] He spent time working on the farm, and after work, would relax with his friends at the local ice cream shop. [10] As a child, his mother once took him to New York . A visit to a museum was his favorite part of the trip; part of the visit involved running around the transplanted ruins of an ancient Egyptian temple. [5]
At some point, Jack began a relationship with Vincent . [5]
Morrison as a soldier in the US military
At eighteen, [12] at the earliest opportunity, [13] Morrison packed his bags and joined the military in response to the Omnic Crisis breaking out across America . [12] He had planned to serve a brief stint in the armed forces and then return home to the family farm, but his work ethic and courage caught the eye of the military brass. Before long, he earned a coveted position in the government's controversial and still-classified (but widely acknowledged) Soldier Enhancement Program ." Military scientists shaped Morrison and other inductees into the perfect soldiers, blessed with superhuman speed, strength, and agility. [11]
Morrison, now a member of Overwatch
Morrison and his fellow augmented soldiers would soon put their abilities to use as the United States was devastated by the conflict. As governments tried and failed to neutralize the omnics , the United Nations was busy forming an international task force called Overwatch . This small, experimental group would bring together the best and brightest from around the world to wage asymmetrical warfare against the robots. Overwatch's short list of prospective agents included two members of the soldier enhancement program: Morrison and Gabriel Reyes , a senior officer from Los Angeles. Reyes and Morrison became fast friends, despite their different backgrounds, and decided to join Overwatch together. Leadership of Overwatch fell to Reyes, but Morrison would have a greater impact on the group in the long term. He brought out the best in the people around him and helped mold Overwatch's diverse (and sometimes conflicting) agents into a cohesive fighting force. [11]
One individual Morrison recruited was Dr. Mina Liao , formerly of the Omnica Corporation , and the one responsible for the creation of the omnics in the first place. Liao, aware of this irony, was caught aback, but as Morrison pointed out, who better than the omnics' creator to help Overwatch fight them? [14] Morrison was looking for a robotics expert, who could educate Overwatch on the nature of the threat they faced. Liao accepted his offer, intent on helping her new comrades understand what omnics were, how they worked, and how to put an end to the Crisis. [15]
During the conflict, Morrison often expressed hope that the war would end quickly, and that he could return to a normal life. However, this wasn't to be, as during or after the conflict, Morrison realized that his relationship with Vincent couldn't work due to the demands of his position.
One of their operations was carried out in Rio de Janeiro . [5] Morrison also fought alongside the Canadian Special Forces , where he met Vivian Chase . [16] In the end, Overwatch found the strength to defeat the omnics and end the war. [11]
The UN rewarded Morrison for his contributions by making him Overwatch's first official commander. Reyes, to his relief, [17] was passed over in the process. [11] Morrison told Reyes that he should have been strike commander instead, but regardless, Morrison retained the position. [5] Decades later, Ana Amari ventured that Morrison had been chosen as he "looked the part"—the war hero. Compassionate, brave, confident, political. That he could rebuild the world while Reyes couldn't. [9]
After the Omnic Crisis, Overwatch experienced a meteoric rise in prominence. New funding and resources gave the now-public organization far-reaching global influence. The world celebrated Overwatch's agents as heroes, but none more so than Morrison. He became the face of Overwatch, a symbol of hope and promise, from the cobblestone streets of King's Row to the sweltering night markets of Bangkok . Morrison envisioned a bright new future for humanity. Under his leadership, Overwatch served as a global peacekeeping force and an engine for innovation, making advances in scientific fields as varied as space exploration and medical research. But even as Overwatch grew in power, Morrison stayed dedicated to the people around him. He trained new agents, instilling in them Overwatch's noble goals and ideals. [11] One agent he recruited was Chase, who accepted his offer to join Overwatch. [16]
At some point he was stationed at Watchpoint: Gibraltar . [18]
Over the years, Morrison spent a lot of time defending Reyes's more questionable actions. [19]

Ten years after the Omnic Crisis, Morrison read a paper by Doctor Angela Ziegler , pertaining to the field of nanobiotics . He met with her at Overwatch Headquarters . He told her that he wanted her to join Overwatch as head of its medical research. She stated that she wanted her research to focus on civilian applications, and he acquiesced, stating that whatever she needed, she'd get. She agreed. [9]
