Mercy has tons of awesome skins. Here's how they rank.
Four years ago, Blizzard Entertainment released a game that inspired tons of knock-offs and changed the way we see multiplayer gaming. Overwatch   has been such a massive part of the gaming community since its release. Thankfully Blizzard was smart enough that the microtransactions within the game only for the aesthetics.
Blizzard has to have a ton of creativity alive among their team to put out so much content every year. With six different seasonal events plus whatever weekend shenanigans they developers keep coming up with, it's no wonder there are so many skins in the game. Dr. Angela Ziegler, AKA Mercy, has some of the best skins in the game. Here they are ranked worst to best!
The rare skins have been grouped together for this list because other than color, they're all the same. Sure, it's nice to get a different colored skirt when you're new to the game, but the moment a higher rarity skin comes out of that loot box, you know you're going to use it.
There is just too much yellow going on in this skin. From a distance on any map, it kind of looks like the angel you put on the top of your Christmas tree. It isn't a bad skin; it just isn't the one we're dying to unlock or use if we have any other option.
Both Viking skins for Mercy are "eh" at best. The Sigrún skin makes Mercy look like she belongs in  Skyrim rather than in the late 21st century.
Other than the altered voice lines, there isn't much of a reason to want to use this skin if you own a different one.
Mercy is known as the Guardian Angel. Like some of the other Legendary skins in the game, they are made to turn the character into the opposite or something very different than what they usually are. This skin isn't bad, but also nothing too special.
Other than it being "exclusive," this skin doesn't do much for anyone. Sure, it has the League patch on her arm. But, it just looks like a reverse coloring of the classic skin. It doesn't have any add-ons or anything else unique.
Once again, this skin is just a different coloring of the classic. But the difference with Cobalt is that it changes the glow of her wings. It makes her look way cooler than some of the other rare or epic skins. If you wanted to buy a skin when you're just picking up Mercy, then Cobalt should be the one to buy.
Like the other Lunar New Year Legendary skins, the Zhuque looks cool during the event, but you probably won't use it outside of the event.
While it's pretty, it's not really in-character for her and doesn't have any meaning for her beyond it looking kind of nice.
If you bought the Legendary Edition of the game, this was one of the many skins you received upon starting the game. The only thing that makes this one any better than Sigrún is the fact that her hair is the same color as it usually is. This whole style, even though she's Scandanavian, just isn't her style. She's laid back and much more proper than a Viking.
Snow Angel feels like an elevated Cobalt. It's pretty and iridescent, making her glow more than she used to, and her halo is an actual halo now. She feels very delicate (like a snowflake) and just very beautiful. It wasn't hard to achieve this skin in the most recent Winter Wonderland event, and it's just a very lovely simple addition.
Unlike Zhuque, this Lunar New Year skin fits perfectly with Mercy's style, and it also dulls the bright gold of the Amber skin to make it look very elegant.
It changes her wing color with an ombre that fades beautifully despite the colors usually being associated with Christmas. Just overall, a nice skin.
The first Summer Games event didn't have the option we have now to buy new cosmetics. You had to earn them from loot boxes. The amount of time spent grinding to get the skin you wanted was intense, and the feeling of getting it was so rewarding. This skin is so nostalgic.
Mercy could combat Reaper for who looks like the best goth in the game with this skin. The concept of her being exactly the opposite of what she is is both terrifying and exciting. If you want to play the battle, Mercy, who doesn't really care about the team, get this skin and the "Why do I even bother" voice line and you're set.
In this skin, Mercy looks like she stepped out of a Greek Tragedy. The detail put into the dress is perfect, and she just looks angelic.
It's not the most original idea, but she certainly looks gorgeous in this skin, anyone with it would have a hard time committing to a different one even outside the Summer Games event.
The early days of the Overwatch team are long behind the heroes in the game's timeline. When the Archives event came out, everyone was super excited to see what the teams had looked like before Morrison and Reyes fell. This Mercy skin shows just how little Angela Ziegler has aged since the fall. Her early outfit resembles that of a nurse in WWII, and she wears it beautifully.
Once again, seeing the good guys in bad guy positions is some amazing alternate universe action that the fans are here for.
Seeing Mercy as a villain in the Junkenstein's Revenge Halloween event was more than enough for fans to solidify their love for her. She pulls off that costume very well.
All they needed to generate hype for the second  Overwatch  game was to give fans an opportunity to get a casual Mercy skin. Their event was a huge success, allowing fans to complete the challenge to gain a limited skin. It shows Mercy as Angela Ziegler, looking more like a doctor than the Guardian Angel we know her as. It was a great edition to the game.
Most people would agree that this skin is absolutely  gorgeous. The coloring, combined with her wings and the concept of the dancer, it is just breathtaking.
Sure, it isn't as much in character as she isn't a fairy, but an angel, nor a dancer like Widowmaker once was. But the aesthetic of this fairy flying across the map is enough for those details to be overlooked.
The idea behind this one means more than the skin looks. While it is a beautiful skin for her, the fact that players bought it and their money went to cancer research makes this skin so much more meaningful. Once again, not as much in character, but she looks good in pink.
This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who keeps up with the game, but people often forget that this skin even exists until they see it in-game. It's completely different than her original design as it brings in blue and purple, which aren't Mercy's usual colors. She just looks so fierce in this skin and powerful in this skin; it is truly stunning.
