Yeah /u/raptornex deserves a lot of credit for the work he's put into this.
OMG I got it in the last 5 seconds! Got up to about 4.5%, then got lucky and got the item that makes you salt-immune and halves the time it takes to check BattleNet. Then spent all of the last 1:00 spamming the account-check.
Aaaaand I just realized this game actually feels worse when you beat it, because then you close it out and realize you didn't actually get into the beta.

I got up to 7% beta chance before I ran out of time. Only in a game about getting into a beta of a game would I have chances that high.

got a 4 % chance to get into beta. seems way too high. 0/10 GAME NOT RECOMMENDED
This is great, though the random dying is pretty annoying. My best is 12.25% chance of getting in.
there is a bug in buying the chips it takes out 400$ instead of the advertised 200$
Quality content give it a "6.5/10" (its really a 10/10 though xD)

What is Fall 10th? Is that the release date?

There is no known release date for beta outside of the initial "Fall 2015" announcement made at BlizzCon and reiterated by Blizzard.
In a previous thread and video, a joke was made regarding the release date being "Fall 10th". This was later referenced to by Jeff Kaplan (Game Director, Overwatch) during Blizzard's gamescom livestream. It is a running gag that the beta will release on Fall 10th, the 10th day of fall, September 10th, etc.
With those two disclaimers out of the way, the friendly r/Overwatch mod team wanted to explain efforts moving forward to help clean up our front page by limiting beta release date discussion to this thread . As entertaining as it is to get hyped over each piece of potential information, it is beginning to interfere with the standard operations of this subreddit.
Many of you have asked or complained regarding the repeat questions on this subreddit regarding beta and when people can play. Overall, our intent is to be relatively hands off and let our users moderate content via upvoting and downvoting.
If you feel content doesn't contribute to the subreddit, use the best tools you have to control it: downvote it or hide it. Feel free to report content that you believe breaks reddiquette or any of our rules. You may always message the moderators for discussion regarding rules or removed content.
Moderators will be removing any thread discussing beta release date moving forward, unless the thread contains substantial information confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment.

After reading the whole article it doesn't seem that you will be able to buy into the betas. Just the small closed beta groups all the time and then big beta group on weekends.

The Overwatch beta officially begins October 27
The first phase of the Closed Beta will deploy on October 27 in the Americas gameplay region, and players may be added gradually to start (with more being invited as new features are ready to test). During this time, we'll continue to make preparations for our Europe and Asia gameplay regions—our goal is to have Europe come online next, with Asia following at a later date.
