“I fought to survive, and I’m willing to fight for the world, too.” The latest installment in our series of digital comic shorts, “Uprising,” takes place in the years before the fall of Overwatch. In “Uprising,” we witness a flashpoint in the conflict between humans and omnics. On the eve of the groundbreaking for England’s new home for omnics, London is attacked by Null Sector, an extremist faction of robots fighting for equal rights no matter the cost. With Overwatch blocked from interfering, Strike Commander Jack Morrison must decide whether to disobey orders or stand by while thousands of lives are in peril.

In this comic London is under attack by a terrorist group called Null Sector. They’ve captured a large factory with hundreds as hostages. However the government refuses to let Overwatch intervene. So after some thought and discussing it with several other soldiers, Strike Commander Jack Morrison makes his decision to help out anyway. I know it’s a comic and in comics the heroes are supposed to do the moral thing not always the right thing, but for some reason this comic rubbed me a bit wrong this time. I can’t place a finger on it why because generally I’m like any other person who enjoys it when the grunt in the movie tells the commander to take a hike and breaks the rules to do the right thing. Maybe it was the way the commander was defending himself against his troops about why they weren’t in there helping. I’m not sure. Overall it was a decent short comic, really doesn’t get into much detail though. The writing was probably what caused me to question his decision at the end of the comic, but it was ok. The artistry is well done as all of them are. Unfortunately as with all the other comics, it has DRM, so I have to subtract a point.

Sometimes doing the right thing means doing things in a way you never thought you would. After all, orders are orders and they're right and good, right? Not really and it's clear that Jack knows that. He's got his work cut out for him but this issue handles that with aplomb.

Great comic for those fans of the game.

This is like one of the best one in the series and it had great art an awesome storyline and is really cool

Not quite as much of a fan of the art style as I have been of previous ones, however the story felt a bit stronger, and its neat to see people interact more. I should probably get around to actually getting the game someday.

Seriously we need other stuff to do in this game aside from PvP. Seriously. Solo que is sheer pain dude.

This book is one of the best Aliens stories ever written. Brian wood is a genius are what he does.

Get ready to sharpen your skills and perfect your strategies—Season 12 of Competitive Play has begun!
Unlocked at level 25, Competitive Play is designed for those players who want to put their skills to the test, and offers a more serious experience than our Quick Play or Arcade Modes.
To begin your competitive journey this season, click on the “Play” button, select “Competitive Play” from the submenu, and you’re ready to enter a match. You can join on your own or in a group, and Overwatch’s matchmaking system will automatically find the best game possible for your skill level.
Before you can kick off your competitive career, every player must first complete 10 placement matches to obtain their initial skill rating. This rating will be a number between 1 and 5000, with higher values indicating a greater skill level. Players will also be assigned a tier based on their rating—Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, or Grandmaster—and climbing into the next tier is possible as you improve.
Skill ratings and tier icons will be visible at the beginning of every match. As you compete, your rating will increase or decrease with each win or loss based on a number of factors, including your own performance and the skill of the other players in the match.
A detailed breakdown of the skill tiers, along with icons and information about the corresponding skill ratings can be found by pressing the “Information” button under the Competitive Play menu.
In addition to experiencing the thrill of victory, players can also unlock unique rewards through Competitive Play. Anyone who completes their placement matches during a season will receive a special spray and player icon. If you are placed within the Top 500 players on your platform (and in your region) at the end of the season, you’ll receive an extra player icon and animated spray.
On top of that, as you complete competitive matches, you’ll earn a currency called Competitive Points. When the season concludes, you’ll also receive a number of those points (based on your overall performance) to spend on golden versions of your favorite heroes’ weapons.
