Heya guys, Kuro here!
As most of you know, I've been hit with many DMCA notices regarding my Pokemon content. And with it I've had no choice but to change gears on monetization. Going from Oversexed Eeveelutions as my main series to Oversexed Evolutions.
Though I've stated before I'd be stopping all progress on Oversexed Eeveelutions, moving forward I will now state that I will do future pages as a side project when I'm up to it. I'll do the occasional Eeveelutions page here and there, but it'll be weeks, even months between these pages. Some very vocal fans of the series have been making themselves heard and I hope with this announcement they'll get some closure. Losing monetization rights over something I'm quite passionate about is quite painful and I'd love to continue work on the comic, though slowly released publicly.
I can't say exactly when I'll draw them. But I will do pages of Oversexed Eeveelutions here and there.

Because someone else is making money off of their Intellectual Property, and if they don’t stop it and protect it, they can lose ownership of it.

To add to this statement.
Copyright law basically goes that if you don't defend your IP, it will become public domain.
This is why a company like Nintendo can sometimes wait a day or two for something to spread and be saved before taking down the official stuff. Ala, Pokemon Uranium Version.

(This is not legal advice.) A major difference between copyright and trademarks is that trademarks are lost when not enforced. In other words, that's not the case for copyright
They do absolutely have to take down fan-made games that use their titles, because those are trademarked

and that is why I don't scream at Nintendo every time a fan project is canceled.
one minor thing about pokemon uranium though. it actually was not taken down by Nintendo, it was taken down by the creator for fear of action from Nintendo after a large amount of other fan games where canceled. or at least that is what I pulled from reading the creator's statement. that was a while ago and I can't find it again so feel free to correct me.

Not officially, from the original creators. Officially, the project was cancelled. In actuality, it's spread around by other people, in basically a finished state.

It seems he'll still mainly be focusing on the Changing Fates stuff now, But from this I'm guessing that Oversexed Eeveelutions is going to be a side project. Changing Fates will still be happening, But think of these extra pages as the occasional change of pace.
This single piece of news will make so many furries excited, and so many furries groan with exasperation, hah.
Nintendo sucks.... a lot... I mean, what you were doing is technically parody and they shouldn't have been able to bs you.… sorry they attacked you

Y'know, it's because of shit like this and how Nintendo treats content creators on Youtube that I don't really feel like supporting their products any longer. I'm getting sick and tired of them going after those who are operating within the rights of Fair Use and parody, while there are bootleggers and pirates who are hurting them far more than the likes of Kuro.

Being parody does not automatically make it fair use, especially if it's for profit.
There are some factories that we considered, like a if the work being parodied is fiction or non-fiction, how much of the original work is being copied, and what effect it could have on the market for the original work.
This comic was entirely based around Pokemon's original designs with very little to nothing done to change them/make then original in anyway, it uses fictional content as it's source, making it less valuable as fair use content, and it could have a negative effect on Nintendo, being a company that markets to children.
Not saying any of this means it's definately NOT fair use either, but it's just not that black and white.
It's likely the only way to find out for sure is to take it to court, which is expensive and risky.
My biggest worry was that Oversexed eeveelutions would have to be left out unfinished because of the DMCA, but I'm very relieved to hear that you will continue on with the Comic regardless!

Great to hear the comic wont be cancelled. And I will gladly wait for however long it takes for a new page to come out. I rather see a page done at your pace and wish, so you are happy and not overburdened too much. ^.^

nintendo should take a look at the tags here, then. so many others are doing this that it would be impossible to DCMA fast enough. on top of that, this is frivolous lawyering they can only engage in because they have a team of legal experts on-call.

Probably not because of the demonetization, but I honestly can't wait to see the new comic over there in the future. The expanded cast is making me so excited to see what Kuro comes up with

Dont wait it wont happenen at this point Kuro probably gave up on it even tho the dmca's that he and others got were fraud and everyone knows it.He just stopped posting anything pokemon related on patreon just to be safe so yeah dont expect it to continue
I know I’m late to the party, seeing as I only recently discovered Oversexed Eeveelutions, but I sincerely hope you do pick this series back up sometime in the future. It sucks that Nintendo struck you down, and I hope you have the inspiration and/or time to continue it for free sometime down the line. I can’t wait to see what you had planned ^w^

Honestly Im really sure that the dmca he got was fake because a lot of people trolled artists with dmcas and made them think that they were from nintendo.And the comic wont continue sadly thats what he said when I asked him on a stream so no more eeveelutions ever again

Well, they did continue it and what you said 5 months ago is a big fat lie.
I know that this topic is more than a year old but I found out about it only yesterday. I am very sorry about the problem with Nintendo. It’s not fair to Kuro. I heard a lot of information from this year about Oversexed Eeveelutions but I don't know which ones are close to the truth. As of today (September 2020), is it possible to know if Oversexed Eeveelutions will still be continued and how so, when and on which page can you look for new photos? If not, where is the information confirming the completion? Or at least will Part 4 related to the Sam’s ability to transform into Eeveelution as Jolteon and back be completed? Thank you in advance for any answer because it is hard for me to forget about this comic. Good luck in further development and creativity.
