The Outdoor Research stores are your one-stop shop for wherever your next adventure takes you. We specialize in four-season outdoor sports like alpine, ice, and rock climbing, backcountry skiing and splitboarding, hiking, backpacking, paddling, and more.

You can now drop off your Outdoor Research online returns in-store. Follow our regular Return Instructions and bring your item(s) in a bag or package that is labeled with your RMA number during our business hours. If you need assistance in creating a return for a web purchase, our store staff can assist you in person or you are welcome to call customer service at 855-967-8197 or e-mail info@outdoorresearch.com .
We do not accept warranty return drop offs at either location that do not have an RA# attached. This is all done through outdoorresearch.com/warranty with our warranty specialists. You are welcome to drop off any warranty returns that already have an RA# associated.
Please note that we are unable to provide an exchange for product that was not purchased direct in either our Flagship or Outlet store locations.
Valid purchases made within either our Flagship store or Outlet locations, that are new with tags, can be returned to our stores within 30 Days (Flagship) or 14 days (Outlet) of the original purchase date. Any seconds products, sample products or final sale purchases cannot be returned or exchanged at either location.

The Natick Outdoor Store was founded in 1947 by Huck Saxe, a WWII Veteran. Founded originally as an army-navy store, it has grown into a full-line sporting goods, clothing and outdoor store. We are located 18 miles west of Boston in downtown Natick, Mass in a 25,000 square foot building, across from the Natick Commuter Rail stop. Today, the store is still family-owned and run by the second generation, Henry, who has been at the store since 1983. Our staff is comprised of experienced, knowledgeable employees who are here to best serve our customer’s needs. No one is paid commission here. Our employees average over 20 years each of working at the Natick Outdoor Store. We are different from the big box stores and the internet—we care about our customers and pride ourselves on personal service. We have been in business for so many years that we are now serving some of our families in their fourth generation. We are a hidden gem in downtown Natick, as featured on Chronicle TV. We are consistently rated #1 Reader’s Choice Award for Sporting Goods in Metrowest. We offer a great selection of the finest brand names at the lowest everyday prices that you can find.
