Do you offer gluten free options at breakfast?
Hi there,
Is this a private suite rental or a room in your home? My partner and I live in Tofino and have to rent somewhere in Port Alberni for a month so that I can give birth at West Coast General. We are hoping to find somewhere that is pet friendly (1 x dog), has access to a kitchen and some privacy for me during the early stages of labour before heading to the hospital.

Hi Dacia. That's very exciting. One of the rooms is a suite, with bathroom, fireplace, view, but no kitchen (which is under renovation until Jan 3) but I don't think it would be suitable since its on the top floor of the house with 2 flights of stairs down to the main exit level. Our other rooms are just bedrooms. Best of with everything in the next little while.

We're in a 100 year old house above Alberni Inlet. For incredible salmon fishing, book Aug 1 to Sept 10. Famous Stamp Falls, hiking the Alberni Inlet trail, Cathedral Grove, a cruise on MV Frances Barkley, or wonderful Milner Gardens, as well as some great restaurants are prime reasons to visit Port Alberni. We're also conveniently close to Ucluelet/Tofino, (Ucluelet~102 km). Our home has a wonderful view & a full breakfast is included. If you get back from your excursions early, you can sit by the Koi Pond, sipping a cup of tea or a blueberry smoothie. If you're pet lovers, we have a Labradoodle and a cat on premises (but not in your room!) We'll try and help you to enjoy your stay to the utmost. See you soon!
Milly runs a home cleaning business and I tutor high school math. We enjoy hiking, dog-walking and meeting new people. I, (but not Milly) enjoy fishing as well. We enjoy meeting our guests and, very frequently, learning from them. We also strongly respect the privacy of our guests.
Stamp Falls Park is a "must see", along with nearby Cathedral Grove (Giant Douglas Fir trees). The Alberni Inlet Trail is rated as one of the best hikes on Vancouver Island by Valley of trails and the one day cruise up to Bamfield on a working coastal freighter (less than a hundred dollars, round trip) is not to be missed. Best fish & chip place you'll ever try is located in a renovated church and is called Bare Bones. Also great Greek & Bavarian cuisine. Our home is only 102 km from Ucluelet and about 130 km from Tofino.
