Dinner in Kata Beach. Chose this restaurant randomly. At this time they offered 10% discount on food + there is a complimentary salad bar. I ordered massaman chicken curry & my husband ordered Phad Thai with chicken. My curry was very tasty & I thoroughly enjoyed it not overly spicy, just enough kick in it. The Phad Thai was very good. We also tried some prawn cakes which were good. Would recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Sooo disappointed by this place. Quality of food low standard. Got pork ribs, tasted horrible. Asked for mash potato, got chips, so changed it, but mash also very poor. Partner got thai local dish, very tasteless. Given how much good selection in Kata, this place needs to lift. Would not go back

Had three rooms for 5 days this week. Other reviews say the staff are unfriendly, I would qualify that - this is just the reception Staff who were indeed unfriendly to the point of rudeness, however the restaurant staff and even the maids were charming and wonderful. The rooms were clean and of a great standard (our toilet had a flush issue, but we didn't really care, we worked around it). Rooms serviced daily, new towels, water in the fridge. All good. Our big problem came when we trusted the lovely smiley lady in the booth in the restaurant to book our onward trip. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE! She was either naive, inexperienced, incompetent or we were taken for a ride! We booked 6 ferry tickets from Phuket (via PhiPhi) to Lanta. We now know she went 3ft. (next door) to the …

This is a good value (for Phuket!) hotel, an easy walk to the beach, with nice big rooms. The restaurant is above average for a tourist place, with a wide range of dishes to choose from. just do not expect "real" thai food, it is dumbed down for tourists.The only real bad point is the wifi ....it disconnects regularly, sometimes every 5 minutes or so. If that is not important to you then "Mai pen rai", but if you need to work online or keep in contact with work or home then it will frustrate you no end !

This hotel is off the main street, but has great air conditioned rooms with nice balconies, elevator service, tv, fridges and wifi. Very quiet and comfortable and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The restaurant is clean and has a salad bar included with most evening meals. Free but a little spotty wifi, and prices are under 1,000 BHT

Food is quite inexpensive and the portion was plentiful considering the low price. Food quality was decent and the salad bar that's included adds to the value. Pad Thai was good for under $3.00 USD, but wine was on the more expensive side at $12.00 USD for a half carafe.

We have been here for lunch. Nothing special. There are a lot of this kind of restaurants in Kata Beach. People were friendly, but the pad-thai and pasta weren't very tasty. Prices are low, personally I prefer to go to the beachside to visit all the food-stalls. Better price, and most important of all better taste and quality.

This was our second visit here and we weren't disappointed. Food is good value and plenty of choice. Fish curry was superb. Service is quick, maybe a little too quick. It's a good location and an easy walk to the beach and shops. A great choice and we will return. I

Right next to beach, shops, restraunts, PADI scuba centres. Just up the road they have a great market 2 or 3 times a week. Good air con and friendly helpful staff. Also arranged an air port transfer in taxi for less than the ranks and tuk tuk's.

This hotel has a good location near lots of bars and restaurants, as well as Kata beach. The staff at reception weren't rude as such, but not particularly welcoming. The room was nice and spacious, however the balcony doors looked out onto a fence and pipes. We ate here once, was quite average. Children walking around the restaurant harassing you to buy things - one boy waited at our table for nearly 10 mins until we paid him to leave. The staff could see we were uncomfortable and I feel they should have intervened.

The outdoor balcony on every floor is a nice plus. The flat screen TV and the separating sliding glass window between the room and the bathroom and a nice touch.
The internet room wasn't always accessible so that was a bit of a bother.

Although the Outdoor Inn is facing restaurants and near bars, but it's very quiet. I am so happy with the cleanliness of the room and its facilities. The staff is great with good service and their friendliness.
The Outdoor Inn can increase a bit of roomrate in order to offer breakfast for inhouse guests. By that way, they can increase their food revenue.

Room is spacious with balcony. I opt for double bed and there are still space for another 2 extra beds.

Toilet:
Bright and clean ~ no complaint about this

Balcony:
Needs to be clean more often as I found Lizard's on the armchairs.

View:
From my room what I can see is the row of rooms with balcony of neighbor's hotel.

Staff:
overall they are friendly and very very helpful.

Facilities:
No facilities in the hotel. Not even swimming pool.

Restaurant:
Breakfast was normal (American breakfast set / No buffet)
We had a few meals while staying there. Tried their fried chicken with basil, green curry, tom yam soup and fried glass noodle ... all are very delicious!!! yummy ~

Extras:
Sabay sabay massage is just opposite the inn, we had massages 2 nights in a row and went back to a good night sleep immediately after that.

Walking towards KATA centre is about 5-10 minutes.

A lot of PUBs in the alley towards the hotel. But not as happening as in Katong!!

Kata centre area is also not crowded. Maybe because it was not peak season when I went there (August)
