I purchased 2 sets of gloves that are identical in style, all the same features even look identical. One pair from Aufwarmen, and another pair from Mountain made. Both similar in price. I used both gloves for about a week each. The Aufwarmen gloves were too tight. There are supposed to be unisex gloves, so I can see how a medium would be a little light if it was to be made for women as well. The Mountain Men gloves fit perfectly! The quality of the glove is exceptional! The zipper is metal not a cheap plastic. The gloves are low profile but they look like men gloves not tight women gloves. there aren't any eye sores either like a big red stop sign looking tag, like the tags on the Aufwarmen gloves. These Mountain Made gloves are all black with a humble black tag with some white writing on it. The honeycomb tact on the inside of the gloves are awesome. There not sticky they just simply grip. Like football gloves. You notice them when your grabbing things and realize how useful it is to have these on the gloves. Gripping things is made easy and feels cool. I was wearing these in 1 degree temperature. They are not super warm. But then again 1 degree temperatures, even Uggs gloves don't even do the trick. What I truly love about these is that, you get the wind protection of gloves, the dexterity, very flexible gloves, they are warm probably down to 20 degrees. Anything lower than that and its full on thick gloves. The low profile is what sells me. I hate bulky gloves, but I hate thin gloves that look like women gloves, even more. Great quality, great price, cool looking, very comfortable, manly, easy on, easy off, warm, what more can you ask for?! These will probably last a few years in Chicago Winter, but I will probably replace them with the exact same pair.

I've been trying out these gloves for a week and I really like them. They have a great grip and you are able to use electronic products/screens with them. They are good enough to unlock your phone, take a phone call, and open an app if needed. The grip on them is good and I could see these being good gloves to have on when starting the car in the morning or going on a bike ride. In Dallas, it doesn't get super cold, but I think these will be perfect for the out of the blue ice storm we might get. The inside seems to be lined with fleece, and they have some stretch from the spandex. I always get nervous ordering gloves due to sizing, but I ordered the large and they fit perfect. The only finger that is a little loose is the pinky, it seems to be a bit too long but not by much. I had some other friends try them on and all seemed to have the same fitting issue with just the pinky finger. The zipper is great to give them a really snug fit. The only thing is if you are wearing a large face watch you might want to take it off or have it fit looser. I included a picture so you can see the fit issue on this. The quality is great and I will certainly order another pair for my family. They would make wonderful gifts for someone or yourself.

I ordered these as a Christmas present for my son-in-law. He wanted a close fitting gloved and it looked like these would be great. When I received the product, I could recognize that they were well made, but looked slightly small. I wear the same size gloves as my son-in-law. I could just barely squeeze my hand into them, and could not zip them at all. I did like the way the glove was made and the way that I believed it would fit if I had the right size. So, I decided to keep the pair purchased and give those to my wife. I would just order the next larger size for my son-in-law. That was my fault, not the fault of the manufacturer. There is a sizing chart and, I'm sure, it would return the proper size you need - if you know the measurements. That's not great when you are trying to buy a gift though. So, if you are purchasing for a woman and don't have the correct measurements, I recommend going with the size they normally wear. If you are buying for a man, and want a close fit, purchase the next size larger than they normally wear. The gloves feel good and the finger tip seems to work fine on the phone. I was contacted by they manufacturer after my purchase wanting feedback. They seemed to sincerely be interested, so I told them of my experience. I took off one point for the zipper. The cuff has a zipper closure, which is good. However, there is material behind the zipper, close to the skin - which is both bad and good. It's a nice feature, but that means that the edge of the cut material may hang in the zipper. I hate when that happens, and it happened when I tried on the second pair of gloves. I noticed that they didn't zip closed. Didn't consider that a deal breaker, so I tried to unzip them, They wouldn't budge. That's when I noticed that the material had jammed in the zipper and caused the plastic teeth it become separated. I consider that a design flaw, but not fatal. It's just something to be aware of. I still think this a good, quality pair of gloves and recommend them if you are looking for a middle-weight, comfortable, close fitting glove. I hope this review helps you to make a good choice.

I had such high hopes for these gloves. I received them Wednesday and tried them on at home. They fit my hands perfectly, just like I wanted. I live in Maine and I brought them mainly for going to and leaving work. The grip is great and they felt warm, just what I was looking for. The next morning I put them on and drove to work, came home had no issues. Today I put them on and one of the zippers was having issues. This evening both of the zippers are now having issues and do not function properly... I am so disappointed. After reading more of the reviews I see others had the same issues. Any working solutions?

Excellent product. Well made and suspect that the gloves will last for years. In view of this they constitute good value for money. They have an excellent grip as the surface is contoured with a rubber-like material. The material is also very flexible so that it allows you to use your hands without any restriction - so it is as though you are not wearing anything. It's not been cold enough yet but they look as though they will keep you warm and well protected from ice, frost, wind and rain. So would be ideal for cycling, walking, watching a game of football and just about any outdoor activity. I did look at several gloves before deciding on this pair and I am happy to have made the right choice. Double-check on the size you need as they are tight-fitting and I should really have ordered EL instead of L and they don't stretch. Will now look at other Mountain Made gear as the gloves are a success.

Excellent product, excellent customer service - I did have to contact the company as I had bought two pairs in large one pair for my son and a pair for my husband; my husband's pair failed with the zip coming off on the second wear, Nate at the suppliers immediately sent me a replacement pair, but unfortunately the zip failed again by bursting open BUT do not be put of by this I truly believe that I should've ordered the XL. The gloves are designed to be a fairly snug fit, but as soon as hubbie flexed his hands it became apparent that they were a little too snug. My son is extremely pleased with his pair, he can use his mobile without having to take his gloves off (he receives a lot of business calls) and as he usually refuses to wear gloves that is an excellent recommendation.

First of all, I rarely write any reviews but I was compelled to do it this time I've been using these gloves non stop-ever since I got them. This is the first proper pair of gloves I've ever bought. Everything else I've used were gloves I found lying around the house (cheap no brands) which I either lost or broke down. I did a lot of research before I decided to go for Mountain Made. Why? Not only they ticked all the boxes (excellent design and features) but also they are small family-run company that cares for the products and customers (just read the feedback). I did consider going for a cheaper alternative from one of the thousands online retailers that simply re-brand stuff they bulk-buy from china but in no way I would've received the level of after-care I received from Mountain Made. I am in no way, shape or form related to this brand. I am simply a first time buyer that was seriously impressed by the product and the customer care. Case in point, I had a small issue with the product and the response was amazing. The co-founder of the company (Nate) wrote back to me and we kept and open and honest correspondence. These are very, very good gloves for cycling. I live in London, UK, and they can handle a winter here very well. If you lived in Canada or whatever, you'd probably need something bigger, but down to 0 degrees centigrade, they're great. They're nicely waterproof, without being sweaty and weird. And they're light and flexible, so you can easily forget your wearing them. The iPhone fingertips work well enough to check your googlemaps or whatever. I should say: the zip broke on one of my gloves. But the sent me a whole new pair free of charge, immediately, without any complaint, and the new pair has been fine. I would highly recommend these cycling gloves. Definitely the best I've had, in 10 years of city cycling.

OK. I have hands that sit on the cusp of medium in gloves yet most medium gloves feel lose and many small don't fit. With these I opted for small and got it about right. They fit quite tightly but I want that, I like to still be able to pick things up (otherwise I'd just wear oven gloves!) These gloves are a nice material, they are warm and they don't come too far up the wrist so don't fuss with your watch and winter coat! I can use these for just about everything and do. You can drive in them and I'll be getting a second pair for work. The seller is also awesome, helpful and polite.
