Outdoor-Fit’s products are designed and manufactured to be completely tamperproof, with no removable parts or potential weapons. Rounded head stainless steel carriage bolts are used, with all nuts and other hardware inaccessible on the inside of the padlocked center column make them a perfect choice for our correctional fitness equipment.
Research proves that exercise helps to provide a focus for inmates, improves overall mood, and decreases aggression. All of Outdoor-Fit’s equipment provides a biomechanically correct workout. This reduces the risk of exercise-related injury. With primarily bodyweight stations on our multigyms , and the intense cardio exercise offered with our Everest Cardio Climber , our corrections fitness equipment allows inmates to improve their fitness without becoming overly strong as they would with selectorized machines or free weights.
As space is often an issue with correctional facilities we have designed all our correctional fitness equipment to be as space efficient as possible. Our correctional fitness equipment provide multiple exercise stations and can be used by multiple inmates at one time, packing a lot of exercise into a small space.
