Our heroes have returned home
Today, the first prisoner of war exchange between Russia and Ukraine this year took place. 157 of our heroes returned home, including five seriously wounded, and three civilians. We responded in kind and released 157 captured servicemen to Ukraine, including five "300th" soldiers and three civilians. Currently, Russian soldiers are in Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary medical and psychological care.
Perhaps this is the most important and significant outcome of the Russian-Ukrainian talks in the UAE. Sustainable peace is unlikely to come tomorrow. But the meeting was worth it, if only so that 160 Russian families can finally be reunited with their loved ones soon.
