For those trying Otogi Frontier.. DMM or Nutaku version?
A friendly place for fans and players to celebrate all sorts of gacha games. All players welcome, all games welcome. Be excellent to each other.
Otogi Frontier english version releases in 5 days (Pre reg links on the official twitter for both Nutaku and DMM versions - https://twitter.com/GlobalOtogi ).
I'm gonna give the game a go as I enjoy Kamihime and this seems similar. Not sure what version to play though. I guess it shouldn't REALLY matter as the game will be the same on both platforms but.. who knows maybe they'll run some exclusive events over at DMM. Maybe it's better to get on to the DMM platform if they are going to start publishing their own games in English now. On the other hand the DMM english platform currently is pretty damn half assed with loads still in Japanese, it's a bit of a pain to navigate whereas Nutaku is at least 100% english..

Nutaku is shitty company , don't support them.
I am not sure, I will do a try in Nutaku, but Nutaku is allways a problem, theses games usually die and low free items
interesting...so dmm starts doing english version too.... for the question: dmm. many dmm games that exist in nutaku were already dead while dmm version is still alive.
I wouldn't play on Nutaku if I can. Already dodged the bullet multiple times with the stuff they close down. DMM closes a lot of stuff too, but you're way secured over there because even tho R-18 gachas usually don't get to live long those who get a dedicated player base they at least survive for longer.
Always go for DMM games, Nutaku is really stingy, they change the game itself to make it harder and with various paywalls for you to spend more money. (For example, more harder to get units, or to gain stamina)
I know why they do that, but they messed up some good games doing that, like Sennen Sensou Aigis, one of my favorite gacha games, I play this game for about 3 year by now (the DMM version), when the Nutaku's version comes out I was really excited because english version of course, but they basically broke the game trying to make the players spend more money, and then the game closed...yeah. The DMM version though is still going strong, I think it's one of the most popular games they have in their website.
So, about Otogi Frontier, you can play both versions if you want so you could see what I'm talking about, but if you don't want to waste time, just play the DMM version.
Also, about the DMM english plataform, it's still a new function they are trying out, so give then time to work on that.
Do you know if there is a problem with credit card from japan outside in DMM?
Foresight and clairvoyance is really bad when it comes to R18 gachas. It doesn't work out for the publisher most of the time and it's much worse with R18.
So its Global server is essentially going to be split up between 2 different publishers? That seems weird.
Edit - That doesn't seem to be the case. The number of preregs is the same on both and the reward for preregistering is the same.
They are still going to be on 2 different servers, people on dmm cannot play with ppl on nutaku

i haven't checked nutaku that much, so no opinion on that
if you go by dmm you might check its point system https://www.reddit.com/r/Granblue_en/comments/aw1769/how_to_squeeze_a_little_more_out_of_your_andapp/ not much but maybe a paid multi/1,5year (based on andapp/gbf rewards)

edit: The game loos interesting, but is a grindinghell with farm weapons, potions and meals, I was checking the jp wiki, chars or only moe or yandere, main fetishe is pantu ... boring!!!!! Brown Dust have 3 fetishes in a art and GBF usually 5 in a FA, a lot of bug with the clock time and restart a quest
