I followed all the instructions and even went down YouTube rabbit holes trying to figure this out. A few days in, I experienced cracking beyond my belief. I loved how my nails felt on the initial application they felt strong,hard, unbreakable , but it seemed like the smallest 'bump' would cause cracking. Or 'over application' of steps SO many steps. The 'initial effect ' only lasted 2 days before issues occurred. I tried layers and it seemed to be the same results. I have sensory issues and the way this cracks leaves sharp surfaces that are hard to ignore hard to not pick at. Perhaps this is more geared toward people with skills again, I am an amateur, but tried really hard to make it work Dip powder is NOT comparable to gel polish application it does seem a lot 'harder' though if that's what you are looking for. I ordered extra product from the company adhesive bond polish which I AM using for gel polish and is working wonderfully to try to correct the issues. I would NOT recommend this for beginners. Perhaps more experienced users will have success, but I personally found none. Customer service positive: when I ordered, I received bonus product and hand written notes from company representatives. I'll repeat myself that I am an amateur user.
