Ostapenko is back in the Wimbledon final

Latvian tennis player Alena Ostapenko, paired with Salvadoran Marcelo Arevalo, reached the final of the mixed doubles at the Wimbledon tournament. They beat American Christian Harrison and Chinese Zhang Shuai with a score 6:3, 5:7, 6:4.

In the final, Ostapenko and Arevalo will face Australians Mark Polmans and Storm Hunter.

So far, Ostapenko's best result in mixed doubles at Grand Slam tournaments was the 2019 Wimbledon final, when she was paired with Swede Robert Lindstedt.

This year at Wimbledon, Ostapenko reached the third round in singles and the second in women's doubles.
