On Tuesday morning, uncensored nude pictures of Orlando Bloom on vacation in Italy with his girlfriend, pop star Katy Perry, were leaked on the internet.
Naturally, a frenzy ensued. And a lot of thirst.
The images have appeared across a plethora of different media outlets, including the New York Daily News and the Daily Star , which featured the photos on its front cover.

But a large swath of Twitter was outraged and equally uncensored about it. They fervently argued the leaked photos were a violation of Bloom's privacy and he would not have been so freely objectified had he been a woman.
The reaction to orlando bloom being pictured naked is disgusting, if it were men commenting about women like that, there would be riots.

Orlando Bloom didn't risk any tan lines while paddleboarding in Italy with girlfriend Katy Perry -- no, he went completely nude. No swim trunks. No slightly-less-Euro-but-still-very-Euro Speedo. Au naturel . Just a man and his paddleboard, as nature intended it.
The "Rise" singer, on the other hand, opted to keep her bikini on and seemingly did zero paddling. Instead, she sipped a local beer and, uh, enjoyed the view.
The 39-year-old Lord of the Rings star didn't spend the whole day in the buff and sported a more modest look -- a swimsuit -- when he returned to shore. Meanwhile, the Internet has busied itself speculating on the size of Legolas' bow and arrow (sorry) based on shadows, black box of censorship be damned!
(The uncensored photos are out there, too. We'll let you do that searching for yourself, dirty bird.)
Beyond naked aquatic activities, Bloom and Perry, 31, were spotted rubbing oil on each other, packing on public displays of affection -- your standard kissing, butt grabbing, etcetera -- and hanging out with friends. Point of clarification: This was not a private beach, if the first two photographs led you to that conclusion.
The couple went public in February during a getaway to Hawaii , a month after rumors first swirled that they had gotten cozy at a Golden Globes after-party. Which makes this Italian romp only the latest time their romance has been beachside -- they also PDA-ed it up on a yacht at Cannes over the summer.
"Katy and Orlando are the real deal and are totally in love. We've never seen Katy this happy and so smitten," a source previously told ET. "They are head over heels for each other."

They've been dating for seven months, and by the looks of things Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are extremely comfortable in each other's company.
The couple were spotted enjoying a sunny day in Sardinia during a romantic break this week, with the Pirates of the Caribbean hunk stripping completely naked for a spot of paddle boarding.
In pictures which have sent the internet wild, the Brit actor, 39, looks completely confident in the nude as he paddles Katy, who opted to wear a bikini, around the crystal blue waters.

Before stripping off, Orlando was dressed in navy shorts for some PDA on the beach, with the amorous hunk barely able to keep his hands off his gorgeous girlfriend.
The smitten couple shared multiple kisses, as Orlando wrapped his arms around Katy and at one point had a cheeky grab of her pert posterior.
Katy seemed a little more reluctant, playfully pushing the hunk away as he leaned in for another smooch.

Body confident! The Brit actor casually whipped off his shorts but left his baseball cap on as he clambered across the shore
The body confident actor soon decided that he was overdressed though, stripping off his shorts to go naked for a relaxing paddle board session.
The actor clambered across the rocky shore completely nude before climbing aboard to take charge of the paddle, with Katy seated happily in front with a can of drink in hand.
Orlando showed off his muscular physique and athleticism as he got to work powering Katy through the water.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are enjoying a relaxing getaway in Sardinia at the moment, and the pair seemed to be getting into the holiday spirit with some paddle boarding and beach antics.
Katy donned a strapless bandeau bikini in a yellow and blue abstract stripe print. It's a bikini we've spotted her in before so clearly it’s a favourite of hers. It's by the brand Bantu, and although the same print as Katy's is now sold out, you can shop it in a coral version on their website (click right). Katy meanwhile decided to remain a little more covered up, showing off her curves in a green and yellow striped bikini, with a skimpy bandeau top and high rise bottoms.
She scraped her dark locks back into an effortless up do, and appeared to be makeup-free for the fun day at the shore, while keeping cool behind shades.
The naked photos of hunky Orlando sent the internet into a spin when they were first published on Wednesday night.

One fan quipped that the scenes had turned them to drink, tweeting: 'Orlando Bloom naked pics got me like,' alongside a gif of Megan Mullally's infamous boozy Will & Grace character Karen Walker downing vodka.

Meanwhile, a bemused fan referred back to the infamous set of Justin Bieber nudes that circulated the web, joking: 'Take that #Beliebers #OrlandoBloom wore it better.'
Another added that they had been transfixed by a certain part of the cheeky snap, which has been censored, tweeting: 'When you see why "Orlando Bloom" is trending and then you see the shadow,' alongside a snap of a shocked looking Kim Kardashian.
Katy and Orlando have been inseparable since they were first spotted getting cosy at a Golden Globes party in January.

Just the two of us: The couple, who have been dating since February, broke away from their friends for some more alone time in the water
The actor was previously married to supermodel Miranda Kerr and the former couple share their five-year-old son, Flynn.
Last month Miranda announced her engagement to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel.
Katy meanwhile was married to English comedian and actor Russell Brand in 2010 before the couple split in 2012, and went on to have an on/off romance with singer John Mayer before falling for Orlando's charms.
