I have very fine thin (borderline thinning) hair. I recently cut it into a shoulder-length bob in order to give it a fuller look. With a new cut that requires styling I started the hunt for the right product. After doing some research on beauty blogs and reading reviews I decided to purchase this mousse. The mousse is easy to dispense and has a nice scent. I blew out my hair as usual and noticed the difference right away!! There was a significant amount of lift at the crown and from the root throughout my whole head. I always use a round brush but after adding this mousse I'm able to achieve even more volume. They advertise "all-day memory" which I brushed off as just marketing but it's actually legit! When my hair starts to fall and flatten out as the day goes on I kinda rub my fingertips at the roots and plump it up and the volume comes right back. I haven't had these results with any other product. I wouldn't go so far as calling it a negative but you can feel the product in your hair (it's similar to the texture of brushed out hairspray) That said it's definitely not crunchy, crispy or flaky; the hair looks soft, smooth and shiny.
I returned part of this order and I should have returned this item too. I have used Oribe products for a few years now and they are fantastic. But I will never order them from Amazon again. I don't know if they are old stock or were stored improperly, but one item would not dispense at all and this stuff dispensed like it was the bottom of the can. I just moved so I will have to find a local salon to purchase from in the future.
I have limp thin hair. I should be so thin, anyway, I had a trial size and tried it. Perfect. My hair looked fuller, held its shape and looked better. For days. So I bought this large size, I am so pleased. I think I am set for the summer and beyond. This is really different, I don’t know why it works better than other mousse, but it does. Addition...2019.....this is great if I could get it out of the can. It is frustrating to have a good product that will not dispense. Might I add...aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhh
I have always wanted to try this brand and this mousse. But the price kept me from buying it. I finally decided to try it in a small size. I love this stuff! My hair is fine, flat, short and color treated. I like lots of volume as I curl it with a curling iron. It smells great, a kind of perfume smell that is very pleasant. It didn't take a lot of product, and after I blow dried, I could not believe how shiny my hair was! The curl stayed in and after I used a pick to comb it out, I had super volume!!!!! I looked like I had three times the amount of hair that I have. It was not sticky, not dry, not heavy, and it felt amazing. Yet it caused all that fullness and volume. I will definitely buy this product again!!!!! And in the full size next time!!!! I wished I had bought it sooner! It's so lightweight it feels like you do not have any product on the hair at all. It totally changed the way I fix my hair and how my hair looks. It is worth the price to me. This has done wonders for my hair.
This stuff is nothing but awesomeness. Just the right amount of fullness to give any style height. Don’t use too much though! Takes just a little at the root
It definitely works, but made my hair feel gooey. This may work better for someone with drier hair. My hair is way too oily for this mousse.
Works well for my fine hair. I use on wet hair and blowdry for volume. Especially love the shine it gives and of course that Oribe sent.
This foam leaves my head very very itchy. It appears gummy and has to be washed out of the hair the day after event. It can not be returned as it is a flammable item. I am just going to try to use it on the ends of my hair so it wont go to waste. But I bought it for more volume in the roots of my hair. I cant stand the itchy gummy residue. Way too expensive for the results.

Disappointed
Very expensive for its size. Also the nozzle at the top doesn’t work well. The mousse itself is not bad but I wouldn’t buy this product again. Also I can’t tell if this product is new or not because I had ordered 3 times from Oribe- two came in original packaging but this one was taped around the top with regular office tape.

I love Oribe, I have tried several of their products including their Shampoo and Conditioner. I have a lot of hair but it's very bottom heavy and only has a slight wave but mainly straight. I'm not a hair dresser but I do know who to do my hair. I put this product in my hair while it was wet, only a small mount all throughout my hair. Then did a combo of hair drying and blow drying followed by styling. It left my hair feeling crunchy and sticky towards my roots and I will need to wash it again by tomorrow which is a bummer for me. I don't think I'll buy this again.
Nothing I've ever tried for my hair has worked as well as this. Its worth every penny. My thin hair now looks full. At last!
I hate to give this product five stars because it's almost £40! Full disclosure - this is the first mousse that I've purchased so I cannot compare it to any drugstore brand. I just treated myself to a new haircut and wanted a 'special' hair product to celebrate.
I have really fine wavy hair that can get frizzy - but a lot of products just weigh it down and make it look flat. This mousse gave my hair volume and tamed the frizz. I have used it both with my hair blow-dried and air-dried. I have more volume when it is blow-dried but the results are still really nice air-dried.
I highly recommend.
