I think the waiters must have thought I hadn’t had a creme brûlée in months!’

Life is busy. It's a grind every day even before you decided to stay up too late binge-watching your latest obsession. That's probably why many people have such a hard time waking up in the morning. Or maybe they're just lazy. That's also possible. Either way, it's a problem.
One company has an idea to making getting up in the morning a little easier. It's a simple idea for an alarm clock. Instead of waking you with an annoying noise, it wakes you with an orgasm. The Little Rooster is the weirdest, best idea in alarm clock technology since coffee pots that get the coffee going before you wake up .

The Little Rooster is designed for women, but really, anyone can give it a try if you decide to get creative (though the site promises a design for men in the future). The sleek design is intended to make it so you don't feel it while you're sleeping, though you'll definitely feel it if you normally sleep naked because it's designed to be cradled by underwear while you sleep.
It looks simple enough. Set the alarm and the Little Rooster, which has 30 levels of intensity, starts to very gently vibrate a five minutes before the alarm is set to go off. It gradually increases intensity. If you're not in the mood, it has a snooze button just like a regular alarm clock, though it might be a little tougher to get at. Also, most alarm clocks aren't in your underwear trying to get you off, but otherwise, the snooze button bears some resemblance to a regular alarm clock.
While it's definitely not for everyone, it appears to be doing the trick for some. The Little Rooster is currently out of stock. However, shipments are expected to resume later this month. It retails for just under $100, making it a sex toy-priced alarm clock. But that seems fair because most alarm clocks aren't interested in making you happy.

No-one likes the sound of their alarm waking them up from the depths of a dreamy sleep, but one group of inventors clearly have more of an issue with it than everyone else, because they've gone to the lengths of creating an entirely alternative method of waking you up: with an orgasm.
The folks over at Little Rooster clearly don't think Kelloggs Cornflakes bring enough sex appeal to a morning, so have designed a novel alarm clock which wakes a person up using a vibrator and ultimately (well, hopefully) an orgasm. How precious.
The 'Little Rooster S' is worn inside underwear (but not inside the body, don't get carried away), and can be set to start vibrating at whatever time the lucky owner decides. The vibrations start gradually, at a low level initially, before increasing to a more intense speed. And given that there are 30 possible levels, we can see how this might end in an orgasm (plus one chirpy woman in the morning).
If you're the type who worries about the noise of a vibrator, don't worry yourself, this clever creation promises to remain silent for at least 27 of the 30 levels. Practical and sexy.
Although we've only just discovered such an invention, it's actually not a particularly new kid on the block. The original Little Rooster vibrating alarm clock (the predecessor to the Little Rooster S, an updated model) has been around for a good few years, and one Cosmopolitan Australia columnist even went out of her way to test it .
"When I first received this devilishly naughty device I could hardly control my excitement," recalled writer Tara O'Sullivan, adding: "I had so many questions: Would it work? How would it work? And why had it taken me so long to find this ultimate personal utensil?!"
And her descriptions make it sound simple. No Ikea-style manual here. "You nestle the rod into the right place before you go to sleep and set the inbuilt alarm. It's like a watch for your vajayjay!"
Although Tara did confirm that the vibrating alarm clock is so discreet "you don't even have to tell your bed sharer you're wearing it," she also noted that the higher level speeds are just as intense as they sound. Describing what happened when she hit hit 'turbo level', she wrote: "my pelvis began bouncing all over the place as though I had an electric mixer inside me," which doesn't sound quite so sensual and dreamy a wake-up call.
"In the morning I was alerted to my new friend's presence though a series of gentle pulsations. Ignoring it, as I do with my normal alarm, it wasn't until the Little Rooster really got going that I woke up and took notice. And as the Rooster worked up to its full potential I was not only wide awake, but really smiling at 7.15 am! GOOD MORNING WORLD!" Tara wrote.
