Step 1: Prep your nails! Remove existing nail lacquer then trim and shape nails by filing in one direction only to prevent breakage! Apply cuticle oil, push back cuticles and remove hangnails. Finally, cleanse to remove oil.
Step 2: Apply base coat to prime the nail surface, increase lacquer adhesion and prevent discoloration
Step 3: Apply two coats of Nail Lacquer, using three strokes for each coat. Apply the first down the middle and then one on each side for complete coverage.
Step 4: Apply top coat over the nail. Don’t forget to cap the nail’s free edge to keep color from chipping!
I first heard of this colour on Keeping up With the Kardashians, and I went to buy it.. it's such a gorgeous colour! It doesn't appear black because there's so much glitter, it almost looks like a dark gray its a great alternative for black if you're really girly.
I absolutely love My Private Jet! Its by far my favorite shade and has been for many many years. It is completely perfect for someone who loves black and glitter. Best combo EVA!!!!!! Thank you OPI I LOVE YOU!
It sparkles & has depth & reads black/brown/gray depending on the light. Goes with everything & is dark, but warmer than a pure black.

I was so happy when I found out that OPI started making My Private Jet in a gel polish, since the original is one of my most favorite nail polishes. HOWEVER, while the gel is a pretty color, it doesn’t quite capture the beauty of the original polish. The original has different sized glitter and is somewhat holographic-it looks gray or purple or bronze in different lights. OPI missed the mark on this one.

Had this applied at the salon near me. Usually get a pale color and normally pink but stepped way out of the box and went with My Private Jet!
I purchased this after viewing a pic on OPI’s instagram. This color or beautiful. Deep with a hint of sparkle. This polish looks just like gel polish. I can’t speak to its longevity, but if it’s stays deep and rich like it is now for 3-5 days, I’ll be happy.
I've always loved this color so I couldn't pass up the IS version. Oh. My. Gosh. Insane holographic glitter, incredible wear, fabulous color! Every shade I've tried in this system has worn better than ANY regular polish I've ever tried. Wish the topcoat wasn't dull and streaky, but that doesn't show up as much on a glitter/frost. Buy this! Add it to your collection!
I bought the My Private Jet as it falls under the 'brown' category on the OPI website. In some of the photos it looks a lovely rich brown too, which is what I wanted. So I'm rather disappointed to now see the colour is more like grey! I wish I had read the other reviews first and seen those photos as this colour is not for me.
I have had this shade when it came out years ago, and I still love it!! It's the perfect steel grey with some sparkle to give it some sas!! It's a must have in your nail collection!!!
Excellent product! The glitter really glints in the light, great shine and lasts for ages.
